I just found this video. I try to watch my son play games, but I get distracted by the landscapes. The artwork has changed immensely since I was a kid. This video was really fun to watch. Great painting!

Amazed by how the moment you put your brush on the canvas you were able to create visual interest! The final result is incredible too, of course. Very cool to watch the whole way through! Bravo!!!

This was with oil paints over an acrylic black gesso and a coat of clear medium + a pthalo blue/burnt umber blend. I definitely did wait for the gesso to dry. If you don't let your acrylic base coat dry you're gonna have a really bad time painting.

I don't recommend oil painting on yourself, it's super hard to wash off your body, and bathing in turpentine isn't known for its health benefits.
