canelo is quite fast acually especially in his recent sparring video on fighthub. Fast snappy jab, great at judging distance, you can see the improvement. Hes still nowhere near his prime and wont be ready to fight floyd until hes in his prime imo which could be too late.

Thos is nice sparring from Alvarez. I actually think hes getting a little worse because his conditioning. I dont think his team is pushing him properly. When he was smaller a couple of years back he was better. The guy has a chance to become a legend with the proper conditioning.
