All songs in TAP are so good.. they're reflecting Taeyong as genius artist, and his live performance for sure all amazing. I think shalala is one Taeyong did very well too, if you check his shalala fancams in his concerts, you will be loving the song more n more like it definitely built for live stage n huge crowds
You are so right, NCT solo era is going insane and it just got started. The 2024 preview from SM shows Doyoung is supposed to get a solo debut this year, as well. Take that with a grain of salt because these frequently get delayed (i.e. Ten, NCT Wish, etc.), but the fact that it is planned for this year is exciting.
Musically Taeyong is perhaps the most interesting artist of kpop (3rd generation) each song is a different genre, also apart from the title tract of Shalala (in which he has lyrist credits) all the other songs of his 2 mini albums are written by him alone, he also composed them or in collaboration with his producer friends and for TAP album he even participated in the production of some songs, finally, the 3 friends with whom he created his albums are not part of sm staff, it's Taeyong intimate music as we can listen to it on his Soundcloud account.
