Great video , just to say some points if wrong please correct me, Pack 1 should come on at thrust reduction altitude and pack 2 10” seconds after pack 1 on as fcom says , also when checking the adiru’s they should be checked at mcdu that they’re at nav , and i guess there is no such a thing called flaps up it “ flaps zero” as airbus manual says 😅 as there was common miss understandings about that , keep uploading love ur vids 👍

Thanks for your input, yeah I do fly both Boeing and Airbus so sometimes Boeing terms sneak their way in specially with flaps, the packs off was definitely something I should have left on given my already high altitude but it all worked out in the end.
Appreciate your taking the time to point out where we can improve and glad you still enjoyed the video. 😁🙏🏽👍🏽

And here are some interesting facts about Mongolia. A bit late this time, but here we go:
    1) The Birthplace of Genghis Khan: Mongolia is the birthplace of Genghis Khan, one of history's most renowned military leaders. His empire was one of the largest in history, and his legacy is celebrated in Mongolia.
    2) The Blue Sky Country: Mongolia is often referred to as the "Land of the Eternal Blue Sky" because it enjoys over 250 sunny days a year, making it one of the sunniest places on Earth.
    3) Gobi Desert: The Gobi Desert, which spans southern Mongolia and northern China, is one of the world's largest deserts. It's known for its dramatic landscapes, including sand dunes and dinosaur fossils.
    4) Naadam Festival: Naadam is Mongolia's most significant traditional festival, featuring competitions in the "Three Manly Games" of wrestling, horse racing, and archery. It's celebrated nationwide in July.
    5) Land of Ice and Fire: Mongolia is known for extreme temperature variations. In some regions, temperatures can plummet to -40°C (-40°F) in the winter and soar to 40°C (104°F) in the summer.
    6) Mongolian Cuisine: The traditional cuisine of Mongolia includes dishes like buuz (steamed dumplings), khorkhog (meat and vegetable stew cooked in a hot stone pot), and airag (fermented mare's milk).
    7) No Seacoast: Despite its vast territory, Mongolia is a landlocked country and is the world's largest landlocked nation.

Great VDO captain. I'm a big fan from Thailand. Hope you can stop by Phuket, Thailand on one of your legs around this part of the world. Would love to see you do an offset ILS approach on RW27 at the Phuket airport (VTSP) and explain the correct procedures for offset ILS. Cheers and have a safe flight.

Hi Captain, interesting as always your videos. Thanks to your contribution, we really learn to fly professionally with these video tutorials. Great. Regarding the packs, you specified in the video that at that altitude they cannot be deactivated for takeoff. If you had left them ON, would the length of the runway with that TOW still have been enough? With the packs OFF, you have almost reached the head of the rwy. Does the TOO LOW TERRAIN and GLIDE SLOPE warning depend on MSFS scenario inaccuracies? Interesting Activating the FL340 by inserting 1 into LS 1L. FLS on Fenix can be selected via EFB. In the PROSIM do you have to pre-configure this mode as is done for the Fenix or does the system automatically choose the FLS mode by selecting LS switch on FCU? I found the ZMCK scenario, if you want I'll send you the link via your email. Have a nice day!

      Hi,
Thanks for your comment and glad you enjoy our videos... Yeah, I should have left the PACKS on cause I was already above 10,000 ASL and also the performance calculator I had used was in error, I have a new one now and won't see those kinds of mistakes again, the Terrain Warning and GPWS are quite correct with the Terrain, in my experience, MSFS2020 does a very good job with Terrain and Accuracy. But yes sometimes if you don't have a proper Airport model and use the default one you can get a GPWS warning unnecessarily. The FLS system is an option we have to turn off or on when we power on our Sim, we can choose if we want the older version without FLS or the new one With FLS, these days we've opted to have FLS ON as we're now flying a NEO and it fits perfectly.
Please share the ZMCK Scenery if you can, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks again for being part of the channel!

@@waypointsaviation Hi, thanks for your reply. Which new performance calculator do you use? Can you share it? FLS must also be enabled in the Fenix via EFB. Should it be enabled equally on the real plane? Where can I send you the ZMCK scenario?

    • @waypointsaviation
      @waypointsaviation  11 месяцев назад

The FLS system we have to enable as permanently on or off via our system settings in Prosim. You can contact us via email or WhatsApp you’ll find the contact details in the description section of every video :)
