I was there for the NYC concert!!! I was actually up in the balcony next to the girls who had the flag with Omar’s facemask look on it. I took a bus from South Jersey and then took the subway to the venue. I really want Omar to come back to the east coast if he can!!!!
And it's nice that you brought up the fact that surely many of the fans who don't speak swedish enjoy his swedish material also. At least me! Especially Dum is very important to me, and I'm really happy that he included it in the live set. There's something Scandinavian melancholy about it and I hope he doesn't forget that side completely. The mix of it all makes that special Omar essence 🔥🔥❤️❤️
I agree. While I love that most of his songs are in English, so I know what he's saying, there is something so special about him singing in his native language. And when his covers from Så mycket bättre came out I actually said to a friend "it is so nice to hear him singing in Swedish again"
About Om om om igen: I would love to hear that live but unfortynately I think it’s quite unlikely that it happens because he doesn’t seem to have so special relationship (or it’s too special) with that song that he would dig that from the archives. I don’t know if this has any significance at all but I remember that in some old live (maybe instagram live) he was asked to sing it and he sighed and said ”det är så jävla jobbigt” or something like that which means ”fucking hard (takes a lot of work/effort) 😂😂 But yeah justice for Om om om igen!!! I am as shocked as little Omar about the result. I stand with him 💪💪😅😅
I saw him in London and it was an amazing show. I met people at the show from the USA and all over Europe. I have heard that some people came from India to see him. He will definitely be in bigger venue next year. I think his team undestimated the demand. I agree it was a short show but I think they have to finish early due to venue restrictions. I know in London Heaven has a strict curfew for give as they have a club night they have to prepare for.
I didn't even think about venue restrictions, however, by the time he came out it was well near midnight. Whatever the reason, he put on a fantastic show
