Thanks, dude. Worked perfectly.👍
Good to hear! Hope you are enjoying ALL the games!
That's an awesome ODE! really want one for my saturn
I wouldn't think twice about getting it if you're thinking about getting one.
@@MagnetecoI am going for one for sure some time soon!
Beautiful work! Watching the tutorial in reverse order hasn't been confusing for me 🤪
LMAO
I’ll be installing a Fenrir in my Saturn tomorrow. This video assures me that it’s going to be ridiculously easy. I’ve already got my SD card loaded and ready to go. 🔥
Awesome! Congratulations on the Fenrir ODE. Let me know how the install goes!
@@Magneteco the installation went really smooth. I must have an older Saturn model because mine had an extra screw to remove from the casing. But still, it was a breeze and I never have to worry about bad discs or optical drives ever again. Time to play!
@@OregonPacifist Awesome! Enjoy my friend.
Looking at getting one of these for my Saturn. This video has convinced me. Thanks
Awesome! I highly recommend getting this board. No issues with since I've made the video. Good luck!
Great and informative video. Be blessed.
Glad you enjoyed the video! If you have any questions, please let me know!
Great Tute! Thanks for this.
No problem at all!
Thanks for the shoutout :)
Woah! Hello and thank you for your contributions! You're a legend!
Great tutorial. I love the Fenrir. Game save backuping is an awesome feature as the cell battery quickly runs out of juice and the Saturn cartridge slot is not the most reliable.
It is a life saver. Now I can put my Saturn save games on my PC! I love this little device. Thank you for checking out the video!
bro i have a question. do you put the games to the sd card with the folder of the game. like when you open the folder and you see all track bin and cue files. or has it to be in zip data?
@corehazard4709 Do not put the games in as a .zip format. The Fenrir Duo will not be able to read it. I'll use Resident evil as an example. The file setup should look like this. SD Card/Games/Resident Evil/.bin .cue .track files.
@@Magneteco thank you. im still using windows 7 you know. thats why i dont know, how the folder icon looks on windows 11. thats why i asked :D
@@corehazard4709 I concretely understand. I hope you were able to get it all up and running, my friend.
I'm currently just playing backups. I might buy one of these if my drive ever fails. Is the installation the same for a Japanese model?
Yes! The Fenrir Duo is compatible with Japanese models of the Saturn. Installation will be similar depending on whether you have a 20-pin or 21-pin model.
Where can I download games on my SD card or best one
You already know I cannot tell people these things on RUclips. But, a quick Google search will give you some great results!
Does this install make the RAM cart obsolete?
It does not. RAM cart is still required to run games that required the upgraded RAM cart.
Amazing that you can install it in about 5 mins without soldering
Pretty much! There's not much to it before you're off playing all the saturn games! Thanks for checking out the video!
@@Magneteco I don't understand why the Dreamcast ODEs have to be solded? GDEMU at least
Not sure that they do. At least not anymore. I'm actually about to begin a Dreamcast set of tutorial videos!
