I’m GhostlyK! I like cheese and caticorns and unicorns and pink and more!” And then I introduce them to my family after talking and my family is confused. Then they have to leave but I want a way to contact them and they give me a shell phone. I send them 100 texts because I haven’t had friends in a while since I’m mutated and then the messages finally stop with me saying sorry I annoyed them. Then a portal opens in there roof and me and my family fall through! And we each have our own mystic weapons! There’s more to it then that and I made up more episodes but I can’t give everything away 😅
@@reneandsheilaesteves3443 you should talk to your parents. And then you should go to the therapist if you have an option, and if not, then watch some videos, read articles about being autistic. Being undiagnosed is still valid, no matter what people say. Take your time, it took me 2 years to figure it out without therapist. Mostly helped me listening to stories of other autistic people. And at the end you should enjoy life the way you are, because it's nothing wrong with being autistic. By the way, i am not specialized in this topic, I an only speaking from my experience, you should listen to smarter people then me
I have autism, and seeing Donnie in Rise is the best representation I could've ever wanted to see. It makes me feel like I'm not alone for once. And the fact that the writers confirmed it and shared that they intended this for Donnie from the start really validates my entire existence. I relate to Donnie (as well as Leo) quite closely. Sometimes, it's like looking at myself in a mirror. These people did a beautiful job!

Donnie is probably my favourite character representation of someone with autism like. ever. As someone with autism, it's just another reason for him to be my favourite character. And I cannot tell you how valuable it is that they never exaggerate it, they never explicitly point it out as being weird or different, and they NEVER make it the butt end of a joke. If I hadn't been told he was autistic, I almost wouldn't know it because they build it into his character so seamlessly and don't make a huge deal about it- so it looks and feels normal to people like me, and that is INCREDIBLE.
Honestly the fact that people kept complimenting this show for how well they portrayed Donnie as an autistic character is part of what finally convinced me to give it the chance I should have when it first came out as an autistic person. I feel terrible because I'm part of the problem that caused Rise to fail because I was all "oh waah, boo hoo, the 2012 show is gone, this is a sin" when Rise is a masterpiece.
Naah, the reason for what happened to the show was lack of advertisement, and the fact it was released only a year after tmnt 2012. Nickelodeon did it to itself
I love Donnie! He's not my favorite character but he is just like my sister(except she's an artist) and it is so great for her to see autism in a positive light for once. She bonds with this character and I am able to see my sister in him. I recognize every autistic tick and behavior but it isn't negative. We are exactly like Donnie and Mikey and are so happy to have found something we both relate to and love. After getting out of high school, we were starting to dwindle in our relationship from not liking the same things to not having time for each other. But this show has truly been a blessing. Thanks Rise.

As an autistic person myself I can relate to Donnie. Donnie’s the second Nickelodeon character that I know has autism. First El Tigre and third Twyla from Monster High. Wonder if there’s any other Nickelodeon autistic characters.
I relate to him so much all his quirks (not being able to let stuff go that belittles my special interests, I have the same stims as him, and tend to sound sarcastic when talking when im not, and just everything that makes his character) it all shows great representation to people and I know from other conversations with ppl they feel the same way. donnie is and literally always has been my favorite character from any tmnt series, he likely always will be, and as someone who is on the spectrum, seeing my favorite character of all time from my favorite thing actually be something i can prove to relate to because i have evidence of the creators confirming, is such a magical experience. As someone on the spectrum I really appreciate what they did with Donnie, the only other 100% confirmed autistic character in animation I know is June in TGaMM and they kind of dropped the ball with her.
I have mine autistic and yes I can related Donnie from him same goes to Marcy wu from amphiba, but I have mental health I relate such as mental breakdown for bad or worst behavior as benson, depressed as squidward and stan marsh, anxiety as tweek tweak and stress as skips only one episode

Yes, yes, yes. It have great humor and character development. Sure, animation in first episodes looks weird, but it is improving in every episode. Unfortunately the bigger plot is at the end of season 1, but it's really worth it. Tbh, i cried on the end of season 2 and movie So yeah, i highly recommended

I'm still at the poin where I have problems with english (writing, hearing, speaking etc) so there are mistakes that I can't notice on my own (or just my brain will shut down and ignore the mistake) and it's really hard to me to do it perfect. But honestly I don't really care if I do some mistakes and people gonna see it. So i'm thankfull for informing me, because now I know :D

It didn’t do anything for me so I didn’t do that again.
