Some of the best ones are the 2003, 2012, and Rise, (the one shown in this video) They're all different in a way though. I don't know where you can watch 2003 now, but season one of both 2012 and Rise are on Netflix! And season two are on nickelodeon :) (2, 3, 4, and 5 are there for 2012 too) There are also a bunch of fanfics on every iteration! And animations! (Just one more thing, if you're planning on watching the Rise movie too, watch it after you watch at least season one, because it's very confusing if you start with it) Hope this helped :)

Like most are saying, him taking a picture was perfectly in character, but I think the thing that really sells it for me was the body language. Like yeah, that's *Donnie,* that's how he moves.
Amazing animatic! Donnie would do something like this! And see, this is the reason why I love this version of Donnie, while he's not my favorite (sorry the movie got me trailing behind Leo haha) is because of his personality and how they didn't treat him as the typical shy nerd. 12 did a pretty good job somewhat fixing that, but... there was a lot left to be desired (imo) and here we got a Donnie whose not only confident in his skills (as well as having them) but also has a morally-challenged compass that allows him to grow as a character and despite his cold nature he does love about his brothers. (Protective of Mikey, respects and cares about Raph, and despite butting heads his with Leo, you can see how they can vibe with each other). Plus, he's a bit of a goofball and a drama nerd and I love it!
I completely agree with you. This is the best generation of TMNT. Great examples of personality changes in these characters would be: - Mikey, always been the little brother, with a partying and annoying attitude. But, this new version, he's so nice, sensitive (in a good way) he loves his brothers to death. He loves cooking and art; His biggest role is being the family psychologist (which he does oddly well when it comes to Dr. Feelings). These traits seem super interesting to me, because it gives him personality. Another example would be: - Raphael. God, how I love this version of him. In previous versions, he was always in a bad mood (mostly because he was envious of Leo). But in this version (besides now being the older brother) Raph, he's completely likable. We all feel his concern when it comes to his brothers, and I seriously say that the role of older brother suits him three times better than Leo. This Rafael will forever have a special place in my heart. I love him for who he is. He's still a grump, but now his arrogance is justified. Now, when we talk about the biggest change, those would undoubtedly be Leo and Donnie. Who honestly have a similar attitude (I think that from those characters comes the tendency for which people are calling them both "Twins", although it is confirmed that they are not). And the truth would not have been a bad idea for them to be twins, because really in this series they both act as such. But Yes. In this version Leo was finally free to be who he really is, a guy with a fabulous attitude (I love that he himself thinks that he is very handsome... which already convinced me... yep... for me Leo is super hot XD). I like that at first he wasn't the leader (and believe me, that really caught me off guard. But after seeing how Rapha acted like the leader, I was convinced that he did a good job. But as the series progresses, we can see how Rapha has a hard time standing his ground as a leader, that's when we start to notice that Leo does have the potential to be the next leader. Seeing how Leo slowly grew into the leader traits was very satisfying (although, it was a big surprise at the end of season 2 XD. I didn't expect Splinter to switch roles by surprise. Oh, FUN FACT, the directors of the show , they really had no plans to make Leo the leader...at least not yet). Even so, this is the best personality Leo has ever had, he's super funny, sexy =w= and I love that each of them have powers; above all, they are different species of turtles. At last they are different not only in personalities, but also in physical appearance. Even without the bandanas we already know who is who. I'm not going to describe Donnie because you did a good job capturing his new change. But I will say that I love that he was resistant to using his mystical powers because he only believed in science, so when he finally accepted magic as a part of him it was very emotional, especially since April was there to support him. The duration of the Show was short and I hate that Nickelodeon had not given it more opportunities, because after the movie, said show gained a lot of fame. It's too bad that Rise came out in a bad season when that silly TEAM TITAN GO show came out, completely ruining the stability of Rise's show only for its cartoonish art that everyone was getting bored of. Especially since the fandom of the TMNT 2012 version attacked the series for no reason, just because they seized on melancholy. It's a shame. But let's hope that in the future the same creators of Rise (which were the same creators of TMNT2012) will bring us a series 100% similar to Rise.

It's also something I enjoyed from the 2012, I grew up with all the illerations of the tmnt (mostly through old VCRS and dvds my older brother had), 2012 was the very first I watched on TV mostly casually before I really got invested in. And to see them act like actual teenagers was a nice change though they still are similar to the previous shows which isn't a bad thing but when making a series the same over and over just with different plot points and adding/removing characters it can just be repetitive which is why I love 2018. They changed it almost entirely only keeping core aspects of the series while adding and modernizing it making it enjoyable and relatable to the audience. I especially love how they not only made them act like real teenagers but also like brothers. Cause if I'm being honest the past series they felt more like roommates with a few key moments that reminded me: "oh yeah, they're brothers" a lot of times. But here they squabble over trivial matters and argue over food and go out to create shenanigan's. (where the plot or bad guy of the week cross paths and a well animated fight scene ensues). Though... not at first as I'm ashamed to say I was one of the haters of the show but then I saw an episode (not the first one, I was still wrongly judgmentful) it was "Insane in the Mama Train" and I immediately immersed in the animation and the fight scenes. I was like, wait what's going on? Then I RUclips I saw the video where they're getting the orb away from Big Mama and "Shadow Fiend" and I was hooked. Watched the series and thoroughly enjoyed it I'm just glad now fans gave the show a chance and here's to hoping the show gets at least two more seasons 🤞

Thanks to this animation, any time I listen to this song it gives me so much dopamine I hardly know what to do with it. I always imagine this transitioning into Donnie running into some baddies and then going head-to-head against them and then towards the very end he calls in his brothers and they all fight together💪🏼

To these of you saying he’s a keeper as an animator for big animated companies (which by the way most of them have unfairness in them like payment, canceling projects, and such), he is to me a bonafide keeper for working on something like Far Fetched or Hearts of Titan
