I support the encouragement of youth and their aspirations, especially the underprivileged. But it’s bothersome when ignorant adults stereotype and assume on the bases of race, cultural backgrounds, or economic status. To just assume that these two young men aspire to be in entertainment(rapper or athlete) instead of an engineer, a biochemist, a chef, an educator, a business owner...a leader??!!! TF made him automatically think these youths want to be in the show instead of running the show?! It seems like suggested confinement. Or maybe I’m thinking too damn much this morning.🤷🏽♀️
