Lucy is becoming my favorite on this show. I'm an OU fan, hated the game result but love Lucy's coverage of Bedlam. So much better than listening to Jess' just try and make her 6 teams seem better than they are.

Listen I like Ron magil as well. But the worlds authority on wildlife? Please stop. There are people who hold PhD and MS who are doing great things in conservation. They also publish in peer reviewed journals and present at wildlife conferences. Don't mislead.
There is a qualifier, he said did not say world’s authority on wildlife, he said nations preeminent guy to talk on animals on television. Emphasis on public communication, which he has been doing for decades. Some experts are not great at communicating, or communicating to non experts in a digestible way
@@LaCheeserie I get ya. You're right, on TV he's good (locally). But as a wildlife biologist he has nothing but doing TV appearances and PR for metro zoo in Miami. The guy never moved forward towards a BS or complete a thesis for MS (which is where a bulk of the research takes place + FWS + BLM, etc). He has no relevant publications or proper appearances at conferences. Most of the biologists out in the field haven't even heard of him. He may be "Dan's" authority on wildlife but consider the context. They are close friends and have connections that goes back a way. This show funds his endowment, which from what I've heard on the show, Ron is funneling into the proper research and conservation channels. I'm in the field so I'm just talking from experience.
