No matter how many times I listen to this concert, the more i'm convinced, it's the best I've ever heard.... and that includes the world famous artists of the 20thC.
Some months ago we had a family get together and I had this concert playing on the tv. Everyone was chatting and laughing and doing the things we (used to) do until Miranda began to sing the Lily and the Rose. I noticed that the chatter became less and less until eventually the room was silent. Even my two year old Grandson sat silently and listened intently. It was quite magical. What a voice and what a group of gifted human beings you all are.
Robert, I was there that night. Only squeezed in to the tent as I wanted to get a good seat for Richard Thompson who was coming on after. Like you didn't know much about them. Wow, what a set, completely blown away. Now I have seen RT so many times I have lost count, maybe 50 + and yes his set was great but this set was special. Loved every minute.
I can see Portland in my mind during that song. Such a unique place. What a stunning set. Until I came across this, I had never heard of them. What have I missed having been away from England for so long?
That was beautiful.

One of Britain's best "folk" bands - singing songs new and old that have meaning and heart. Brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing = a joy.
Fantastic - and am loving Miranda's pure voice in "The Lily and the Rose" - her presence so complements the voices of Steve & Phil.

Some kind of tailored tarpaulin?
Who cares. It's his talent that matters.
