I did a small update on my Tacoma access cab I pulled the rear door panels and cleaned them up really nice, I have just lighter black panels from factory that where a touch scratched up I used a green scub brush and some 600 sand paper to smooth out a few scars I used dupicolor plastic adhesive promoter just 3 light coats on the clean panels and let it dry I then used dupicolor black about 4 light coats a few min between each and looked like brand new I then used some dupicolor clear on it about 2 light coats and looks unbelievable awesome compared to factory On the bottom of the panel it looks like a hockey stick I cut out a template using construction paper and got some russet leather from redwing boot company and some Eva foam 1/4 thick the leather is 2mm thick I cut the foam to the pattern and carefully glued the leather and wrapped around the foam Then I used 3m Velcro and taped the panel to the bottom of the door to protect it in the future and it looks great I’m in the process of doing the front door and dash panels doing the same I have the panels ripped apart at the moment and glue is drying I can’t wait until it’s all done but I just do a little bit every day. The only hard part was getting the right real leather I bought about 5 different kinds until i found the one i really loved so that took about 6 weeks. You can also just use stick on suede from amazon and you don’t need to remove the dash panel just use a plastic pry tool to tuck it in if your looking for a cheap way to get some color
They have a wireless one that just plugs in the usb port on Amazon it’s small I plan on getting one soon I really want the Tesla dash giant screen one day I’m working on the door and dash panels now
@@manuelsilva8530 I’ve never actually pulled my radio out to see if there is a usb port behind the radio. As far as I know the usb port below the radio is the only one

I have just lighter black panels from factory that where a touch scratched up I used a green scub brush and some 600 sand paper to smooth out a few scars
I used dupicolor plastic adhesive promoter just 3 light coats on the clean panels and let it dry
I then used dupicolor black about 4 light coats a few min between each and looked like brand new
I then used some dupicolor clear on it about 2 light coats and looks unbelievable awesome compared to factory
On the bottom of the panel it looks like a hockey stick I cut out a template using construction paper and got some russet leather from redwing boot company and some Eva foam 1/4 thick the leather is 2mm thick
I cut the foam to the pattern and carefully glued the leather and wrapped around the foam

Not to be rude but what does any of this have to do with this video?
Good video
@@jimcatanzaro7808 thank you!
Do you lose sound when playing music as you would get when using Bluetooth
I have not experienced any issues with losing sound
I tried a few different Android Auto dongles. Really hate having it just hanging there. Wish the port was in the armrest.
@@rndsommer40 yeah I wish Toyota put the usb for the radio inside the center console too

@ this video is all about a wireless usb plug and play device
Is there a way to connect it behind the radio, so it will be out the way?
