  • Hey Everyone,
    How could you say no to the opportunity of helping out Peter Steinbacher from PS Sound in the UK, to work on Phil's EPIC sound quality inspired sound system in his BMW E92 335i!!
    What an amazing experience it was to work with Peter, and a great lead into a massive weekend of sound quality tuning training!!!
    Also special thanks to Coen from Fab Car Audio for letting us all take over his workshop for a day to make the magic happen!!!
    Thanks For Watching!!

    WoW such an interesting conversation. This guy comes across like a professional who knows what he is talking about. He seems really passionate about car audio

    I said to Phil, he probably has the best sounding car in Aus at the moment haha. The PSsound religion is spreading across the globe!

      Not sure its the best sounding car in Australia, but its an improvement on the tune I did myself 🤣

      .....and that's how car audio comps first came about!
      It's a pity it's all dead in Australia now.
      I was active as competitor back in the Alpine Car Audio Nationals days (before IASCA existed in AU), and back then car audio events would pull crowds of thousands.

      @@BMW1M If there are any judges still doing the rounds we could always get a local comp together if there is enough interest or at least get a few meets together for like minded hobbyists :)

    About the Bluetooth conversation at ~8:56... Challenge accepted, Peter. Simple fact of the matter is that you can stream lossless (data) to your phone/iPad/whatever all you want, but you don't then re-transmit it through BT without degrigation to the file. And until Bluetooth LE (a technology that is still to come to market) is then integrated into both the sending and receiving aspects (devices) of the transmission, this is and will be the case. But to fully make the claim you are here, though BTLE is forthcoming in the near future and considering the strides made to improve the BT that's currently available I can understand where the idea of your claim comes from, the technology simply doesn't exist yet... No disrespect meant, just fact-checking.

    Does anyone have forum link for the build log? Or on what forum I can find it please? Thanks!

    Any chance you could show us a bit of how to tune from start till end without obviously giving your tricks away. There is not much good installer here in NZ

      @@pssound9749 yes, Peter. Front sub turned out well. But pillars and mids still have to be finished aestetically. BTW, this SB26 sub is a 4 ohm version that requires double the volume than 8ohm version, how it behaves in that enclosure?

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749 Год назад

      @@GarryDavidson157 it’s the 4ohm version and it’s perfectly fine for a front sub duty. The AE 15”s take care of the last 2 octaves.
