What someone says through music, how one speaks and sings through the instrument, how one expresses image and emotion, is what brings music alive and makes it magical. I don’t understand the critics who complain about Lang Lang being expressive. I tend to complain about the innumerable other musicians who are not (including many very famous virtuosi).
