And when you look him up, has no content related to running the game or evidence to back up what they said. I doubt he'll ever post a run ever after being asked to post one on his last video posted 3 years ago.
@@local9 I'll bet he's comepletely moved on from that account, even, because of Josh's fans following him. A 100k video where probably like 30k stopped to read their whole exchange probably didn't help either. Also, your username is 👌
I played this game when I was like 3-4 years old it’s one of my first memories including the ps1 Harry Potter game, I usually watch josh’s speed runs here on RUclips not just cus of the amazing skill but also cus of his personality he is such a good and nice guy and that really draws me in at least, also great video and thank you!
I love this video. Just goes to show how humble and open you are Ricky about making in-depth quality videos not just centered towards yourself but others as well, congratulations to Josh as well! :)
I remember being in Headstrong's stream when they discovered the idle deload. It was the weirdest thing, Headstrong was just practicing pause buffers and suddenly the world around them disappeared.
ThaRixer was one of the Guys that really introduced me early on to his twitch channel, and I gotta say, its been a great time getting to know Josh! He's a great streamer, and I think its really cool that the Jak Community, and really, the speedrunning community as a whole, is able to work together and promote their craft. What a great video. Thanks for the in depth analysis Ricky! We really appreciate all the hardwork and dedication YOU put in both speedrunning, and your content in general for viewers like us.
I've watched his runs for the past couple of months, seeing him beat record after the record is just incredible, inspiring at that. You did a nice job with this documentary. Great work both of you, and keep it up!
Seeing the passion come out on runners when they pb or wr is amazing. The explosion of emotions and realization of what they just did is truly awesome to watch.
I love that you keep using that beautiful bit of music from Mirror's Edge Catalyst in some of these intros. It makes me want to go and play it over & over again.
There are no videos on RUclips that I am enjoying as much as yours lately. They are so well made, so interesting and entertaining! Keep it up Ricky! :D
just found your channel and I have to admit, I did not realise speedrunning was still so popular! great videos dude! I dont speedrun myself, but it's great to see you show so much support for these streamers and youtubers! I hope I can find some sort of niche on twitch someday, and stuff like this really makes me smile :}
This is my favorite childhood game. I've spent literal thousands of hours at least in this game, finished it more times than I can count. And yet, pretty much every single movement he makes when playing feels almost alien because of how perfectly executed they are. He's truly the king of this game
I'm not too big into speedrunning, but I can appreciate the difficulty and the sheer determination it takes for people to complete any kind of speedrun. With my favorite game series of all time, nothing can ever beat it and nothing ever will, seeing the world record being beaten was something that made me cry. Congrats on the times josh. You are a friggen legend my guy!
Ahhh! This made me cry too! I love this game so much! I was actually getting sub 2 hour runs before I knew speed running was a thing. I wish I kept with it. Congrats Josh! Your hard work really shines through!
The first time I beat Jake and daxter 100% ( a few months ago ) my first thought was lemme look up the 100% wr to see how fast it could be done and I was absolutely blown away by Josh's time its awesome to see the history laid out like this you should definitely do more vids like this
Love this new types of videos! Wasn't following you lately but I glad you are still in my subscribed chanel on youtube. Hope your doing well, continue the great job!
another big game that had a similar story to this one, where one guy conquered it was one of the original ninja gaiden games, and the only reason i know that is because this same dude also held a record for the irl speedrun of making a burrito the fastest.
I remember when you used to do Let's Plays. My favorite one was Sly 3 because of the Master Thief Challenges. I would listen to the music as those were real bops. I would restart the video every time the music ended, just so I could keep listening to it.
Imagine taking 2 minutes off your own record and not posting it until the exact day someone finally came along and thought they were the new record holder.
OutrageousJosh hehe if you want a playlist from jahcole with songs you may not have heard just look in my playlist and click “cole world audio”. And btw jak 2 best jak and darter.
Hi tharixer. In 2 days i will have the software to récord my games after 6 years. You are my favorite streamer and youtuber. this video inspires me to keep improving like josh... That Nibor comment is hilarious. He equates getting a world record to "Hey, I mean, I play this game a lot too man"
Sour grapes

I think one on Xem and how he dominates all 3 RAC games would be fun!
Josh is still improving his times! Just one month ago he set a new WR in No FCS of 23:16. What a guy

17:40 props for using capsule monster colosseum music. Been a while since I heard that ost.
I was really expecting this video to be about headstrong, and how they held records in all jak games, but I'm glad to hear about josh
That Mirror's Edge music intro
i love that you put the clip of shift doing swingerless while talking about unbeatable runners, that man is the definition of unbeatable

This is the most whole some thing I have ever seen. Thank you for this man!!
lul I was gonna say its the saddest thing I've ever seen.
thank you for highlighting this underappreciated game & runner
