  • The M110 (SASS)
Is it a good multi purpose rifle?
IMO it is a decent weapon for mid range to close quarters.
In Semi Auto mode it can fire fast enough to engage multiple targets at various ranges.
What is your experience and opinion about it?

Not the best, every time I shot it, my frames dropped to 11 because of my crappy Xbox

@@purplestar4214 I still like my M4A1 Scout though. The faster fire rate makes a difference in closer quarters.

Honestly this is just what I was looking for. Sometimes I just want to see a specific gun in action in a real game type scenario, like how I'd use it

    • @Eastford
      @Eastford  Год назад +1

It's all about upgrading it and using the right attachments and perks. A lot of people tend to just throw shit on based on how cool it makes the gun look, but it all comes down to what the individual attachments actually do. If you can tailor the gun so it is steady and accurate it will slay anything.

    It's a designed marksmanship rifle. I'm a fan of M110. Nice work ghost. 👏

IMHO, the MK14 is the best multi-role rifle in the current Ghost Recon game series.
Recoil can be a bit much on solid full auto, but good trigger discipline and firing in bursts, it's just shreds everything in its path.

    • @Eastford
      @Eastford  Год назад +1

I think the greatest advantage the Mk14 has over the M110 is the higher fire rate. The fire rate of the M110 is 400 vs the 725 of the Mk14, which in turn also means that in semi auto mode the Mk14 is faster as the delay between shots is almost 1 second with the M110. As for DMR's in this game I think the M4A1 Scout (Mk12 Mod 0 SPR) is among the best even though it lacks the punch of the 7.62. It is accurate and fast in semi auto so the follow up shots groups tight and the 3 round burst can easily put all 3 round in the noggin of a heavy at 2-300. I haven't played around with the Mk14 long enough to configure the right perks and attachments to see if the bullet drop works out with the BDC of various reticles, but it might be worth exploring.

      @@Eastford - M110 is definitely a decent weapon.
You seem to be kicking ass with it. 👍🏻
I run with (no HUD, no compass, teammates markers off, no detection gauge = a completely clear screen / “cinematic mode”), and the MK14 as primary, with; short barrel, DMR standard magazine, DMR suppressor, PEQ-15, VC16 sight, standard collapsed stock and bipod.
Secondary is the standard MGL and a Desert Eagle as my sidearm.
Sharpshooter class, really helps with this build too.
If you get the chance, give it a go. It’s a really versatile set up.

ok, so I tried to set the Mk14 up for range and stability. I typically run panther class as I tend to sneak around lots, but the perks I use are geared towards range and stability, so are the attachments I use.
I use Slim Shadow as I tend to favor a more stealthy game style, but that perk adds nothing to the firearm's attributes.
I also typically use the gunslinger perk as it adds +15 Accuracy and +15 Handling.
Ballistic Advantage is a MUST as it adds on +60 Range and +30 Handling.
      So far I've added
      +60 Range
      +15 Accuracy
      +45 Handling
      Attachments I use are
Mawl-DA, which adds +10% Range, -10% Sway and -20% shot spread.
Bipod and foregrip combo, which adds -10% Horizontal recoil, +10% Range and -15% sway at the loss of 10% reload speed.
One thing I noticed is that the bullet drop is minor as with the TARS scope the drop at 400 is just below the end of the vertical red line of the cross hair, which is pretty decent. One shot hits are kills on unsuspected enemies, 2 shot hits on alerted enemies. Even taking 400 meter shots at unsuspected enemies are a hoot and a half lol.
      Let's sum this up...
with the right perks and attachments we got:
      +72 Range (60+20%)
      +15 Accuracy
      +45 Handling
      -25% Sway
      -20% Shot spread
      -10% Horizontal Recoil
I'll run it a few missions then I might just make a short video about the rifle if it makes it on my favorite list.
Thanks for bringing the Mk14 up, never gave it much though after my initial test run with it as a Mk1 level rifle. As a Mk3 upgraded rifle with all the perks and attachments it might just be worth playing with. 👍

@@Eastford - let us know how you get on, dude. 👍🏻
I run as my usual perks of; Slim Shadow, Ballistic Advantage and Sensor Hack…
Sensor Hack I feel helps taking down drones and helping to avoid those pesky wasps, which turn me into Swiss cheese on the regular, lol.
Anyway, I just subbed too, so I’ll keep an eye out for your next vid.
      Good speaking with you.

@@IISCAFFII I tend to use EMP's and C4 against rolling drones and EMP against wasps unless I have fair distance to shoot them down. I'll definitely run with the Mk14 for a bit and see if it suits my play style. Thanks again for bringing it up, much appreciated.

As i play immersiv no hud, 1 main weapon, this m110, along with the g28 and the m4a1 scout, are my go to weapons. I love the sound, the look and the versatility.
The m4a1 scout, in burst is better at killing those armored gatling guys and overall better at closer range. I'm not confident with above 200m.
The m110 and g28 are decent at close range, but very good and precise at middle to longer range 400m is okish.
To choose between these 3 weapons depends on my mood.

    • @Eastford
      @Eastford  11 месяцев назад +1

To get consistent headshots at ranges beyond 200 m with the M4A1 Scout it comes down to which perks you use and which attachments. With the right perk and attachments the bullet drop matches the BDC reticle of the ACSS sight. I actually prefer the M4A1 Scout over the M110 even though it has less damage due to being a smaller caliber. The faster fire rate and lesser recoil/muzzle rise makes up for the lesser damage and it makes it a more versatile weapon than the M110 in closer quarters.
There should be a video about the M4A1 Scout somewhere on my channel.

@@Eastford i always use balistic advantage, mawl, bipod foregrip combo to max out the range. I'll consider the acss scope. And above all, i should train against a wall at different range to have a definitiv understanding of the m4a1 bullet drop. My biggest mistake is to often change the scope.

@@Eastford great. Already done some testing. It works perfectly. Finally M4a1 scout+ t5xi. 200m just under the crosshair, 300m in between the crosshair and the first line (just under the middle) 400m exactly on the first line. Got an 400m+ headshot on a rocket launcher.
