Just now listening to the stories but, going by your comment, you should listen to mrballen, if you like true, scary,, creepy kinds of stories. He's also a very good one.
The rabbit mask r@pist story is intense, and honestly I’m glad OP and her mother got some closure, and he ultimately got karma. Doomed to a fleshy prison where he struggles to survive, fully aware but unable to do anything, the perfect hell for monsters like him.
Oh my goodness that was an INCREDIBLE story. It should be a movie. I wouldn’t want to drudge up the emotional destress but an artistic interpretation of that story could have a powerful impact on people who know victims that have been through similar traumatic events. That’s why I am a creator. Artistry for the sake of empathy.
The one about the horrible boy who abused his parents and animals was awful. Like why didn’t anyone do anything to help the poor parents. like a bunch of people knew he was abusive. I don’t know how he was able to get away with that so long.
Joel has one of the best narrating voices ever.❤ I have 3 channels I listen to regularly with great narrators. This is by far my favorite. I have had people suggest other channels, but the way they read is like nails on a chalkboard.
I listen to and watch a lot of these. While I love all of them, my favorite is seeing an hour + long video by Joel. The lives are fun when I can catch them
Man I'd seen that Sanders family story on I Survived and as soon as I started to hear the story my eyes started welling up. Breaks my heart. What an absolutely heroic father. RIP Jim Sanders, you are surely missed by your family.
Am I the only one who back in elementary school when it was time for you’re classroom to go to the library for reading time or whatever would chose a audio book and just sit on a bean bag and listen to the story with headphones in ( big wired headphones since it was the late 90s early 2000s lol )? Listening to these reminds me of back at those times and it’s a comforting feeling
In the story about the cop that robbed the guy first mistake never file a complaint especially not at his own precinct. Find out the number for internal affairs and go through them it’s probably still risky but definitely better then just filing a complaint with cops that r gonna go straight to him and tell him and protect him
Korena killed a pregnant woman and her baby, yet she gets to live in prison? Should’ve got the death sentence, it angers me that she gets to keep her life after she stole 2 in such a barbaric way.
I like it when he reads the real third-person stories (like the first one in this video). I don't like the first-person stories as much because most of them seem to be from pretentious Karens making up stories about walking down the street and being looked at the wrong way and then feeling "violated' for the rest of their lives (pathetic)
@@th-sd6ni have been saying this for a long time. I have posted the same comment basically word for word. I can't stand the stories like "I was on the bus and a big scary man was also on the bus and he was wearing a scary black hoodie. I put my keys in my hand cuz I was gonna gouge his eyes out. He got off the bus 15 stops before me, but I don't know what his intentions were. My blood ran cold." Thankfully I've been hearing less and less of those. The actual verifiably true stories about real people are the best.
@vfa9761 how is it bitter to not want to hear the same thing over and over again lol. Ive been listening to these since about 2015 and it's easier to pick out unique stories
I follow a select few horror narrators, and you are by far one of the absolute best! The quality of your voice, the storytelling skills and the authenticity of the characters makes you stand out from most others!
I was pregnant with my first child when I first heard stories of people luring or kidnapping pregnant women just to steal their unborn baby. In one of those stories the mom was lucky to survive and eventually got her baby back. But I'm overly paranoid and regret watching those videos as it gave me a new fear
I doubt i'll ever get a chance to be first on the comments, but Joel, I will always take inspiration from your content. Not only are the uploads consistent and amazing, but it has even inspired me to narrate! Absolute legendary narrator!

For the case of Karina Robertson... It's really weird for the prosecutors to say it falls under that state law & that there's no way to know if the child was born dead or alive. 1st, the child was born via C section, only that it wasn't done by doctors. 2nd, they can check the child's lungs. If there's air, then the child did breathe after being born. Therefore, that baby should be considered human. The suspect's intent were both to make the mom give birth & to kill her at the same time. Weak & lazy prosecutors! If she was charged with the death of that baby, it is sureball death penalty & the family will get the justice they truly deserve.
