- The last Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire of Series 1 sees us descend on Keighley in West Yorkshire to find out what there is to do for families.
It's not top of the tourist trail, but it has a lot to offer, from the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - where we took the Santa Special steam train - and the amazing Cake'ole, a brilliant cafe.

I live near Cliffe Castle, since it's renovation a few years ago it has become popular with visitors from all over. The parkrun is also highly rated. The café ( when it reopens post COVID) us a great place for a light meal or a home made cake.
Just along from Cliffe Castle is the first Carnegie Library in the country.
Will definitely revisit be included a proper report from Cliffe Castle

Having visited Keighley west Yorkshire during mid 1960 as a coach driver from the midlands with 40 people all eager to play bowls with the Keithly team and with the lord Major present on my return to Birmingham my engine boiled over when on the Yorkshire moors so passengers found a small scream and made a chain of bottle and cans to fill the radiator. Then continuing our journey the cap was passed round to collect about £4 for the low paid driver who relied on passengers generosity to subsidise his wages.

I live in Keighley and I have one thing to say it's a dump especially on parkwoodStreet it feels like the houses were built on a Friday night and all the builders were drunk 🍷🤪

Tour de Yorkshire Planning meeting: Right lads, the route is supposed to go through Keighley, but it's a right shithole. We don't want the world to see that. What do we do? I know, we'll have to put some adverts on when they get to Keighley, the viewers won't thank us for showing the worst place in all of Yorkshire. Good thinking Batman!

keighley is a crakin town are u mad it horrible i can say that coz i live hear cliffcastle has has some improvments the stem train is the only good thing about this town he clearly was not looking at the town properly it a mess we have horrible christmas lights that brake as soon as they switch on trust me when i say you will be dissapointed if u visit hear
Its not all bad, I have lived in Keighley my entire life, its not as bad as bloody bradford, bradford is a craphole, no offense
