Only those who *DISOBEYED the Church could be saved* in EGW's teaching.

He (the Pope) had dared to change the only precept of the divine law that unmistakably points all mankind to the true and living God.* (Great Controversy Chapter 3. (53.4) implicitly meaning that no man could come to true and living God, through Christ alone but only be by Sabbath keeping alone* In other words, No man comes to the Father except by the Sabbath. Seventh day adventist do not believe that keeping the ten commandments alone can make uou righteous . The bible says they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. We all have to have the love of God and love for each other .
Hi Yvonne, is there a disparity between keeping the Commandments and loving God and our fellow humans? Correctly understood, absolutely not. Bible writers and Jesus Himself said that the Ten Commandments can be summarized in two laws: love God (first four; love your fellows, next six). One cannot truly keep the Commandments without loving God and man.
The Adventists will say anything to get a follower. They are very dishonest. Let's see if you can pass the truth test... Which of the 10 commandments of you not broken? Why don't you all do this, on this coming Sabbath? Why don't you get on your knees, search your heart and vow to God with all your being, you will never sin against God again to the best of your ability by braking the 9th commandment and falsely accusing someone for the rest of your life.
Trust me, it will change your life. Otherwise, you are wasting your time. When do you all stop falsely accusing Christianity in the name of declaring your own righteousness and exalting yourselves?

Many of the false doctrines of the Adventist Church are called inspired by the Holy Spirit to justify themselves. But, God has nothing to do with these people who promise the Heretics and the rebellious salvation for following their false prophet and false teachings. The problem for Adventists and their like is that they have done with the law, the same thing the Pharisees did with the law and that was to abuse the law and the commandments, to tell everyone how righteous they are, *rather than what sinners they are. They abuse the law of the Sabbath do evil, to lift themselves up and become holier than thou, when the law was there to deeply humble and condemn them to hell and torment their conscience* that they might seek Christ. The Adventists and their like refuse to fall on their face before God and admit what sinners they are. *Instead, the Adventist use the law to *"Appear righteous before men"* and then tell everyone how they *"keep the commandments of God"* when they know they don't and never have.
Thus, saith the scripture: Rom. 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, *working death in me* by that which is good (the law) ; *that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.* But, they don't see themselves as "EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL" Instead, the Adventists and their like say that the commandment makes them *exceedingly righteous!* as did the Pharisees.

Thus, to them Grace and faith is made void the law and the name of Christ is only a means of teaching the law, not the "Righteousness of Faith!" .
And, now they deceive themselves and the public daily *blowing the trumpet* about their own righteousness through Sabbath keeping.
When you press the Adventist about Sabbath keeping, *they all admit, they don't keep it according to the commandment* . Thus, making them the biggest hypocrites ever to profess to be Christians.

One of the Adventists teachings regarding the Pope is wrongfully represented by the SDA. It will be interesting to see, if they are willing to change and tell the truth of the matter. If Mary had named Jesus, "Rock" , Christ's name would have been "Cephas" in the Aramaic and "Peter" in the Greek. There is no argument about it. But, Christ reserved the name "Rock" for Simon Bar Jona, though Christ is the Rock of Ages. *it cannot be denied that Christ Himself named Simon Barjona, "Cephas"* which ONLY means Rock at the beginning of Christ's Ministry. And, in John 1:42 forward, Christ and all the Apostles called Him "Rock" as long as they lived The correct teaching from scripture, is that Ceohas does not replace Christ but Cephas rules in Christ's visible absence with the authority of Christ, as much as Moses ruled Israel and spoke for God. Anyone who despises the authority of the church Christ Himself instituted, all find themselves being proponents of lawlessness of religious and doctrinal anarchy*. Contrary to the teachings of the EGW, Adventists, Mormons and their like, it is those who REMAIN in the apostolic Church who are the true believers and bothers in Christ, NOT THOSE WHO LEAVE THE CHURCH!! And squarely put the epistle of John explicitly identifies those who WENT OUT of the apostolic church as “One of the MANY ANTI CHRISTS!”

We gain mental, physical and spiritual blessings by honouring His day. However we must follow all God's commands generally as well as the Ten commandments in Love.
