That's so true about a pet changing your lifestyle completely. Just a small example of my own experience, I used to be a clean and neat freak. I couldn't stand seeing hairs or dirt on my white floors. But after adopting a dog from the SPCA, within a couple of months, I learnt to accept the presence of his short black hairs on my floor for at least until the weekend when I had more time to clean my home. And then there's the twice daily walks of about 30mins each time, and before when you had your own time for your own activities after coming home from work, now you have to spend time with your pet once you're back from work. I'm not complaining of cos. I loved it when he was always excited to see me home. I loved my time with my dog. I saw him as a member of my family, as a son that I never had. It's been two years since he left this world, and I still miss him everyday. But I'm blessed that I got to spend almost 14 years with him. This was just to share a couple of ways that a pet will change your lifestyle and how you spend your time.
Overcharging will just cause the population to stop having pets with the economic downturn. Having pets are good for our children in learn about love, responsibility and nurturing, and for others it reduces loneliness and stress. But with the high cost of a pet, it has now become a status symbol for residents here. Can't the government once again provide a subsidised veterinary service like that of PPD 30 years ago? The health of animals matters as it can affect us, as we know in this post-pandemic age.
Call on the vet industry to band together and resist regulatory oversight. This would impose regulatory burden and increase cost, making the industry less competitive as compared to another jurisdiction. The industry can effectively self-regulate by having membership. Bad apples can quickly be removed of their membership upon investigation. In addition, the consumers may switch vet if services are not up to standards. There is absolutely no role for government to set additional unnecessary rules, which would not solve the problem but raise cost.
It sounds a bit like vets need to develop the skill to assert themselves while charging fairly... Literally any business faces the issue of customers trying to bargain to lower prices. At the same time, heard through the grapevine that some vets are truly charging exorbitant prices.
Thanks for the analysis! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
When you buy animals bred for their defects, expect defective genetic issues. Some dog owners shouldn’t own pets when they keep buying breeds like pugs
Do you support a drug free environment, And support the use of drug testing and identification of prescription abuse on compromised health professionals the, and other regulations, moral character, criminal background. Ethics

Do you support improved standards and monitoring
I’m surprised vets aren’t registered with the system, does that mean any vet can work unregulated ? In Singapore and what about credentials
They are bred for meat for Chinese new year😢

S'poreans are rich enough to have pets because their household income exceeds expenditure. Many thanks to the first-world PAP govt.❤
