You'll get there, because you have the drive for it. Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. We have common interests, one being recycling failed prints or waste filament. Good luck, and keep up the good work.
I've always been so torn on this concept with a closed-source company. I rolled out an open source measurement system that hacked into the spooler, and within a few months the branded filameasure rolled out at 8x the cost of an open source arduino nano/pi based system.
@@3DPrintedDebris i have never even heard of that device. Id love to have seen it. Another 3d farmer “new tech inventors” ken weller has a filament counter he uses. Perhaps you can help him optimize his huge print runs. I have wanted a filbot for ages but! I need to have a full closed loop system like what you are doing else its not worth the investment/time.
Wondering if you are running PLA year-round, shipping during the summer months must expose prints to some excessive heat. Any issues with prints deforming? Are there better shipping boxes/wrapping that help mitigate the heat?
Pretty unbelievable, that you have to spend so much time investing in so much problems, while it costs that much money 🙈 You should build your own machines and sell them 😅
I think the complication revolves around the recycling part of it, as well as holding diameter tolerances that will not only print, but print well. Virgin 4043D PLA extrudes great, but the EX2 doesn't mix very well at all. Black is probably the only color this thing will make out of the box. From there, it's tinkering hell.

Thank you sir! Will do!
Good luck!
Thanks!
I have binge watched this channel, I have no idea how it isn’t bigger!
It's actually new. I just started about 2 months ago. The YouTUbe algo isn't kind.
I always loved your Videos. Sad that you might have decided to quit RUclips - Wish you all the best!
Still here, just really busy!
so interesting.
Thanks!
I cannot wait for you to solve this problem for the company since they have no idea how their pipelind works

No issues here, but I use HTPLA and PLA+.
Do you have the complete filabot recycling setup? I have something to discuss in personal. Can you please meet virtually?
Yes I do. No I won't.
What is your preferred Bed Surface?
I have 2. FYSETC Textured PEI for the minis, and WhamBam PEX for the rest. I'll do a vid on these one day.
@@3DPrintedDebris wow thank you for the quick response very appreciated :)
