This was my first time playing the original. Still have not got around to the PC Engine/TGFX version, but think I will soon since this playthrough is fresh in my memory. Came so damn close to clearing without continues in this one that I think its within reach also, so will probably try for that in the PC Engine version. ^-^ Thanks for checking out my playthrough of the X68000 version!
also, if you are comparing this to the TGFX version, please keep in mind the beta state of this core currently. The only issue I noted was the bomb sound effect seems much quieter than it should be, when comparing to original X68000 hardware. These things will be fixed and this is simply a beta preview.

Bomberman is one of my favorites, interesting to see this version. So far TG16 has seemed to be the best one I tried.
