Really enjoyed your podcast and hearing about life in Bermuda. My son just turned 16 a couple of weeks ago here in Australia and we have to spend 120 hours in the car with him while he learns to drive. Once he is 17, he can take a test and be on his own in the car. It is really nerve-wracking being a parent. His sister took 2 years to get her hours up and she (and we) were so excited when she got her licence at 18. Not long after she had huge accident at speed and rolled the car (someone had broken down in the middle of the road and she didnt see it until too late). Thankfully she was able to crawl out without any injuries. I am so grateful. Now with my son, I am not in any hurry for him to get his licence and be driving on his own.
Love your designs. Subscribed and looking forward to more podcasts. Sadly I wont make it to Rhinebeck for at least another couple of years. One day. :)
Oh wow! What a shame for your daughter! A real fright for everyone!!! I love that in Australia you have to spend 120 hours in the car. Amazing!
Thanks for watching, hoping to publish another next week.
My husband and I honeymooned in Bermuda 46 years ago and went back again on a cruise about 5 years ago. Love it there!
Wonderful! It's a special spot
The bike story was precious. Good mom!
You are so kind. Each day is trying!!! Parenting is not for the faint hearted! :)
Congrats on the podcast, please continue if your life allows! I love your style and now have many of your patterns in my favorites!
Thank you so much!
Thank you Beth! Very enjoyable and always a bonus to get to know the designer’s mindset and intentions behind the garment. 👍💜
Thanks Kelly! So glad you enjoyed it
I am so excited to see someone in a warm climate knitting wool! There are so many beautiful wools to knit with!
Oh yes! Lots of wonderful wools to knit with! Thank you!
So thrilled to a podcast from Bermuda. I lived in Bermuda as a small child from 1959 to 1961 when my dad was stationed at the Naval air station that used to be there. I have such wonderful memories of my time there. Back to watching your podcast now.
How wonderful! Bermuda is a special place for sure. Thank you!
@@bethmacdonaldstone it’s the only place we ever lived that I want to go back to-maybe someday.
We spent 5 years living in Bermuda
.....our house had a fireplace which we laughed about when we first moved in
....and proceeded to use constantly through every single winter 🤣
Thank you so much for this little nostalgic visit combined with my new passion for knitting!
Yes - ha, ha! A fireplace is the key to the home in the winter here in Bermuda! Sounds like you have great memories of our funny little island. Fabulous!
Great podcast! The fit that you described and focus on is exactly what I try to achieve when knitting sweaters for myself, so I can't wait to peruse your patterns and cast one on. I love the one hanging beside you...might start there : )
Wonderful! Thank you!
Had to laugh when you mentioned 'cold' weather. I used to think my daughter was being just a 'wimp' when she said that when the temp dropped to 17C it was time to wear wool sweaters, and wear a scarf when riding the bike. That was until one year I was there and the temp did drop to 17C and yes, it was very chilly. There is always a sea breeze and humidity, so when here in BC Canada people would be wearing shorts and t-shirts at that temp, in Bermuda you wear woolies....
Totally! Honestly never been so cold as when I was riding home in the winter from Hamilton to Somerset. The damp just gets in your bones!!!! Thanks for watching and your lovely comments
Hi there, Beth! Congratulations on your 1st podcast. Nice sweaters😊👏
You comming in like a tropical wind to cold Norway. At least the last couple of days have been cold on the south- west of Norway. I am a knitted myself. Knitting all kind of things, - from socks, hats, mittens to sweaters, shawls and dresses.
I mostly design all things myself, or have got an inspiration from this or that. It I have never written a pattern on these items. So they are all one-of-a-kind. I am happy with that.
Looking forward to seeing you again.
Greetings from Norway 🇳🇴
Its really amazing - the Gulf Stream passes by us and ends with you in Norway. It's truly a small world... Sounds like you are a very competent and creative knitter. Fantastic! I sure hope you poste your projects on Instagram so we can all appreciate your creativity! Well done! Happy knitting!
Hello Beth, your channel popped up in my feed, then i saw the flag in the background! Great jumpers, i prefer mine longer. My fav was the coloured yoke and floats, great colourwork! I've only done test knitting on beanies and socks, nothing bigger! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! We all do have our preferred lengths dont we. So good to know and to work with
Great 1st podcast! Look forward to many more. Your designs are very inspiring and one of your sweaters will be on my needles next.
Wonderful!
I have never test knit, but have been knitting off and on for 50+ years. For some reason I have become more adventurous in my older age. I finally learned to knit socks two years ago with magic needles (can’t do DPNs for the life of me). All that said, I would love to have your sweater be my first test knit if possible. Tweed sweater, not the Calabash (not quite that adventurous yet 😀).
Sounds great! Please send me an email to beth@bmid.bm and i will put you on the test knitter list for future calls including the Deep Deen.
Dina introduced me to your patterns and I am so thankful! please keep making these, love a good BethMacdonaldStone pattern
I'm so glad! Dina is amazing. Thank you!
Very fun to see Bermuda….lovely knitting spot! I’d love to hear about knitting a sweater to the right spot! That would be great!
Hoping to spend much more time about finding your magic numbers/measurements. Thank you!
It was a Lovely Surprise to see you recommended on RUclips. Really Enjoyed your video, listening to your tips with your knitwear was Helpful as I also live in a Warmer Climate in Australia 🇦🇺. Thank You for sharing your New Designs.Looking forward to seeing you Again.
Oh thank you!
Beautiful. Boxy Blue Raglan is at once classic with a modern twist. It's unique for the fitted at shoulders and boxy body. I already have blue yarn that will work ! The whole concept is: elevated sweat shirt to wear to the farmers' market.
I totally agree! Thank you!
Thanks for new podcast to watch! Love your designs - realized I have your Trunk Island Tank in my Favs. I am a fairly new to sweater knitting and I love to learn how to customize for fit, so appreciate tips & training whenever you can. ❤
I live in Florida, but I too love sweaters, shawls, cowls etc. Geez it has been a ridiculously hot humid summer. Yuck!
Bermuda is on bucket list. Love hearing about it. Good luck on podcast & glad to add you to my World Knitting Friends list.
Joni D 😊
Awesome! Thank you! Yes a really hot and humid summer here too and it doesnt feel like its going to let up any time soon. I have my fingers crossed... Cant wait to wear layers and my lovely hand knit sweaters!!!
Hoping to publish another next week.
Thanks again!
What a treat!! Tuned into YT today to view the usual knitting podcasts and I'm thrilled you popped up on the feed. I hope your time allows more of these because I've enjoyed hearing the thoughts behind the designs and about the beautiful land you knit in. Thank you
Thank you so much!
Thank you, Beth: looking forward to your new designs being released!
Great! Both the Boxy Blue and Soncy are available now. More to come each month :) Happy knitting!
I live in Hawaii and am so excited to see warmer weather knits thank you Loretta
Wonderful! Hope you were not at all affected by the fires in Hawaii this summer. Thank you for watching!
It’s so helpful to hear from a designer’ perspective. Thank you! I look forward to future episodes.
You are so welcome! More to come & thank you for watching.
Great episode. Love the insight into your designs.
Thank you!
Beautiful sweaters! As I watch, I want to make them all.
Thank you!
I had to come watch again. And I can't get enough of your new top, Deepdene. That texture is stunning.
Thank you so much for watching again!
Really enjoyed your podcast. I can relate to your angst about your son. When my children learned to drive we did not allow them to drive beyond the borders of our town and could not have more than 1 other person in the car.
That's a good rule for new drivers! Great idea! Thanks for watching!
Learned about you from the Needles at the Ready. Enjoyed learning about why you design the way you do. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great podcast! Love hearing about Bermuda! You have a beautiful design sense.
Thank you so much!
Beth, I really enjoyed your 1st podcast. You’re really talented & look forward to seeing future podcasts. ❤
Thank you so much!
Beth enjoyed your first design show. Loved your sweaters will be following you for sure. I too lived on Toronto all my life and now reside in Edmonton. Find memories of B.. loved it. Congrats on your new show!!!!! Checking out your sweaters on R. Have a wonderful day. 🧶🇨🇦👍
Thank you so much!
I was so thrilled to see you started podcasting! I love your stories behind the how your designs come to life. I’m so looking forward to watching your next podcast!! 😍👏👏👏
Thank you!
Hi Beth, I am so glad to find you. I like your design a lot and hope more episodes to come.
Linda from Seattle
Thank you so much!
Wow! Just wow! When your podcast started I was wondering where you are. Such a thrilling landscape! Wonderful!
And then the same with your projects! The shirt you are wearing looks sooooo nice. Unfortunately I didn’t understand the way you fixed the problem with the neck🙈…, my English!
And you are a great designer. And you explain very well (even I didn’t understand the neck thing). All your sweaters are an inspiration and worth to knit them. Well, I am not the biggest fan of colourwork (because I am not able to work them nice), but the yoke of your last sweater is so so wonderful. Maybe I try it again…., maybe.
Thanks for that wonderful podcast and I hope to see much more of you (and of the nice place you live, even I can imagine that it is not ever easy to live there. But I think I would really love it, despite of the hard winters. But of course, it is easy to speak like this if you have never lived like that…
Thanks again and greetings from Europe.
Thank you!
The neck thing was to fix the collar of the top I was wearing. It needed stability so I added a ribbon to the inside to add support. Hope that explains it better for you
Many thanks for watching and your lovely comments
Hello Beth. Oh my love theHedgehog tweed but have resisted purchase until I have an idea It is lovely in your texture sweater. Goal for 2024. Lovely designs. Calabash and Soncy I’m looking forward to your upcoming patterns. Hearing about your home makes me want to pack off to Bermuda! Im currently in Colorado but going home to Minnesota in a few days. We will winter in SW Florida
Wonderful! And thank you. Hedgehog Tweedy is really lovely. Well worth it :) Happy knitting
How wonderful to have stumbled across your first podcast! I live on the coast of Georgia in the USA and we have similar weather here... We go from the Devil's front porch in the summer to wonderful, light sweater but wet weather from November through February so it is fantastic to discover a creator who understands knitwear for tropical environments. Thank you for starting these podcasts. I will certainly be checking out your patterns and already look forward to making some of your designs.
Wonderful! Thank you!
Loved your episode. Related to GI issues and completely agree with your sentiment that everyone hears things differently when finding videos but love all the videos for a visual learning experience, just everything was so well said. Thanks for the time! - K
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
More! Please.
Hi Beth that was fun looking forward to seeing you again 🧶🧶
Thank you!
Just catching you now! Love that sweater you have on, it will be perfect for Florida weather also…. That pretty smart about the motorbike and the motor levels for the young ones. Will catch up on your podcasts shortly.
Thank you! Yes I agree - good to ease the kids into a bike with a lot of power.
Hello Beth,
Greetings from Jésus Island, or more commonly known as Laval, Québec!
Congratulations on your first - of many, I hope - podcast. It was great to meet you.
Pleasantly surprised to learn you're a fellow canuck.
I discovered your designs when I knit your Pothos Tee last summer with Sandnes Garn Line in Pearl Grey and I just love it. As a matter of fact, I was wearing it yesterday!
In my Rolodex of tops, it's a favorite of mine that I go back for over and over..
Funny story about it...I knit it by accident!
I was at my LYS and saw a woman wearing a gorgeous top. I asked what the name of it was. She told me "Lotus" by Sarah Bleau. Coincidently, I was there shopping for yarn for a shawl by the same designer, the "Pothos".
See where I'm going with this?
When I looked for the top in Ravelry, I switched the names around and looked for the Pothos Tee instead of the Lotus Tee. Your pattern came up, so I got it and started it right away.
I found its construction so interesting, and at the same time, I thought to myself that it didn't look quite like the top I remembered. It was only when I looked for the shawl that I realised my mistake....or rather my intuitive creative decision as I like to call it. So glad I got my wires crossed!
Seing you rocking Hinterm Stein's "Breakfast at Tiffany's' just confirmed to me why it's already in my queue. And may I say that the idea of using grosgrain inside the collar to stiffen it up a bit has been noted. Genius!
I laughed at your Calebasse story! I was in Martinique this spring and we were shown all sorts of uses for it...including musical instruments. I'm looking forward to thispullover pattern being published. I would be very interested in making it, especially since it's sport weight. Not too many of those around!
And the Boxy Blue Raglan is another pattern to add to my never ending - and ever growing - queue of projects. It looks so unique and using Worsted weight is a welcome change to all of my fingering summer projects.
Well, that's enough for now, I think...don't want to scare you too much on my first time writing to you!
Thank you again for having taken the time to prepare, record and publish this first épisode.
I confirm without reservations that it was a total success.
See you again soon
Thank you so much for your lovely note! Laval Quebec - lovely! You must be starting to feel Autumn by now... I don't think I've been to Laval but I have spent time in Montreal and loved every minute - a great city!
The Breakfast at Tiffany's top is FABULOUS! I cant recommend the pattern enough. Honestly its truly brilliant and if you are at all keen, you must knit it.
I love how you ended up knitting the Pothos tee - a rather roundabout route!!! Also glad and somewhat relieved that you are happy with the end result too. :)
Many thanks, so glad you enjoyed the video, take care
Beth
Hi Beth, I really enjoyed watching. I'm in Ontario Canada ... my gosh, you and everyone there are brave to be out there in the middle of the ocean lol. Have you been living there long? I only recently (last few years) realized that a longish crop is good for tummies ... since it floats over as you sit lol. I love designing but am not too regiment on writing out the design as I go - I'm working on getting better with that. You have lovely designs! I like the colour strip for the deepdene - and ohh yeahhhh I know my sweet spot lol. I absolutely love the Calabash sweater - so pretty! Have a great day, Sunshine
Thank you! I'm Bermudian/Canadian. Grew up in Toronto so probably not far from you (in Canadian distance terms that is :)) My Mom is Bermudian and my Dad was Canadian. More to come on that so please stay tuned if you are interested. Yes a long-ish crop is my sweet spot. Thank you so much for your note!
Hello hello to you Beth, loved your firstvlog and welcome to you. You are very natural, well done! Your designs are amazing, I just love the simple with a feature approach. I can be a test knittsrfor you if you are still looking. Although, I am in the southern hemisphere, opposite seasons, I'm in Perth, Australia. I hope your son enjoys his new bike,d stays safe....all the best ❤
Thank you so much! I'd love for you to be on the test knitter list. Do please email me at beth@bmid.bm and I'll add you to the list.
Great first podcast. I love to hear about your designs and the beautiful island of Bermuda.
Thank you so much!
Great new podcast. Loving your designs. Hope the hurricane passes you by.
Thanks so much!
Love your knits and enthusiasm. I've been to Bermuda and can't believe how relatively close it is to NYC, where I live. If you ever want to meet up for a yarn crawl when you are in NYC, let me know!
Oh wow! That would be fun! I spend a lot of time in NYC and think I'm pretty familiar with all the knitting stores but maybe there are a few more to surprise me! :) Thanks for watching
Really enjoyed the podcast and appreciate your design aesthetic and attention to the small but important details. Look forward to knitting one of your designs soon!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can’t wait for your new raglan. Please hurry it up and put it out!! Bought the yarn and ready to start. ❤
Very soon! Thank you!!!
Hi, great podcast.
More pup.......ni e voice e and content
Hi Beth, your channel came up on my list as a suggestion and I am happy it did ! I really enjoyed listening and your design styles are the type I love, I struggle with mid section bloat and am always on the hunt for your style of jumper. Looking forward to the next episode, Bridget R
Oh thank you!
Fabulous content! I enjoyed this episode and cannot wait for the next one. I love the descriptions of your knits and your why.
Thank you so much!
Loved your podcast - thank you Beth. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful designs & hearing about life in Bermuda. We’ve recently moved back to England having lived on a small Scottish island for five years where weather and roads were also very challenging at times! Knitting always saved the day though and helped focus the mind until the storms passed 🧶😊
Oh that must have been fabulous - the small Scottish Island. My MacDonald side of the family originates from Iona. I've never been but got as close as Oban.
@@bethmacdonaldstone Iona is one of my favourite places - a very special place! We were on Mull & visited Iona several times. I hope you get the chance to go sometime 😊
so fun to find your podcast from the comments of Skeindeer Knits!!! Bermuda is such a fascinating place. I look forward to learning about it from you!
Oh thank you! Isnt Skeindeer/Eli so talented?!?!? What a wonderful route to find this one!!!
Just finished Hanging Leaves and look forward to another one of your patterns soon. We were stationed in St. David's at NAS Bermuda 25 years ago and are looking forward to a golf trip this December. Love getting to know you!
Wonderful! That's amazing! I dont think you'd recognize St David's these days. No more military stations just nature trails, a bowling alley and grocery store. Quite a change from the bustling NASA and US Military base of days past. Thank you for watching and leaving your lovely comment.
Your first podcast was so easy and fun ! Loved hearing about Bermuda where many East Coast friends spent spring vacation….please keep the conversation going..
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
So happy you started a podcast - it is lovely! And really cool to hear about the hows and whys of your designs. I snagged that boxy blue raglan - casting on in a Hinterland yarm that I have had in my stash today. I think it will be perfect! I live in the Pacific NW - way up in the very tippy top corner of WA state. And, as you said, that sweater will be great with dresses, leggings, etc. Thank you for taking the time to chat - looking forward to future episodes. :)
Yay, thank you!
Great introductory podcast. I like your design ethic and style and am looking forward to more podcasts. I love the raglan and bobble pieces. Your style sense works for me!
Wonderful! Thank you!
Hi, a pleasure to discover your video, I do live on a tiny tropical myself , Reunion island, a french island in the Indian Ocean and we also have chilly winters , so I do perfectly understand what you say. I love your patterns, happy to subscribe!
Wonderful! I have a friend here in Bermuda from Reunion! Small world... Thank you!
Very interesting Podcast. Good luck and hope to see more.
More to come! Thank you!
So glad I came across your video! I have great memories of Bermuda with friends. Just learning to knit so will be a while before I tackle a sweater but yours are beautiful and have me inspired. Thank you!
Wonderful!
Good podcast, thanks~👍🏽
Amazing knitting projects 🧶🩵
Thank you!
I realy was informed and love the designes you made and makes in the future. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you very much!
Really happy to have found you and congratulations on your new vlog adventure. I discovered your designs through Ray at Needles at the ready and "pouf" you came randomlyon my YT feed. I absolutely love your Boxy Blue design as I have a soft spot for 60s designs. I must say that the Breakfast at Tiffany has that vibe too. More projects for my needles😊😊
Welcome aboard and thank you!
I have a love/hate relationship with knitting. A few months ago after a short break I started knitting again. I ripped out everything I knit, even if finished. I just didn’t like any of it. I have more yarn than I will ever use. Books, patterns, tons of everything. I started watching knitting on RUclips and am not nearly as talented as I’d like to be. So many talented knitters I got discouraged and went back to new obsession, which is quilting, born out of Covid. So I don’t know. I joined a knitting group to make friends in my new habitat. Lovely, productive ladies. I want to enjoy knitting again especially since fall is coming. I live in VA and just bought a beautiful blanket pattern. Would love to be able to pick it up and knit away. Anytime. Am I doomed? Sorry for writing a book. I like your style and garments. Beautiful. Much success.
Oh, I feel sorry for all that! But nevertheless quilting is really great, too. I bought thousand o miles of quilting fabrics, and patterns, but I have never quilted one single quilt. I bought pictures from my daughter and her becoming husband and wanted to insert the I a quilt for their marriage last year…., but no😣. I have to say that I have a pain syndrome which has made me very depressed and I lost all my modification on doing creative things. And I have sewn and painted and potted so much. But watching all those great podcasts give me the hope to create again. It makes and gives so much joy! Yesterday I bought really expensive wool…, probably to bring me to starting it finally again. I am sure it will work…., okay almost sure…. I will knit a warming shawl for my daughter who lost her baby, so cashmere was the only fabric I found to be acceptable. I know, she still will be unhappy also with a knitted shawl, …. I can’t really explain it…, maybe you know what I mean…
As you mentioned that you don’t feel talented enough I could assume that you also have to fight a fight with your thinking.and as far as I understood you moved and lost your friends. I am really sorry, if I write crazy things. English is not my nature language, so I will probably use wrong words to explain something I really would like to say. So please, don‘t become angry. 🙏
I am happy you are joining a knitting club. Here in my city in Germany there is nothing like this. And it is great there are a lot of lovely ladies. And a blanket is a great idea, even if it is not the smallest thing to knit😉.
Try it, maybe the group can help if there is really any problem, but I don’t believe that you are not talented enough. But I can understand the feeling when you watch the podcasts. Many things I would never start, because they look so complicated. And I am not a fan of color working… there are so many great patterns without it, thanks God. I have not knitted since school (which is really many years ago), but I thinks is like riding a bike, you will ever be able to start doing it again. Especially I love that today there so man things you knit without much sewing the parts together, what always was always a problem for me and makes the projects always make look a bit… crazy. And nobody blocked their projects. There was no internet to learn….
I really really hope that you find your love again. Even it takes a lot of time to quilt, especially if you don’t have a longarm around your area. Here you couldn’t pay it…, it‘ sooooo expensive as only a handful of people of this country owns one. Probably as our homes too small and of course they are so expensive…. Knitting is so different. You don’t need much. I am sure that you are not untalented! We all have to learn and get better the more we knit. Maybe just your taste changed.
You see, I also can write books😉. Would be happy to hear about your progress and if you like it. Maybe you start with a smaller project, where you can see an effort more fast, but a blanket is of course a great idea. I have of course no idea, what you like and what not, but I have the feeling that you will like knitting again and then you have two great obsessions. One you do during the day and one one when your back needs a rest or in front of the TV. Thank you for opening your heart and be sure YOU ARE NOT UNTALENTED! I also wish you much success and first of all, that you find your old love again (without loosing your quilting obsession!). Many many greetings and lots of love!
Knitting is lovely but not for everyone. Quilting really appeals to me but I'm terrible with a needle and thread and I just dont enjoy it. We all have our strengths eh?!?! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I totally agree! We can be our own worst critics and its really not helpful. Do what you enjoy and sending you best wishes
@@Teatime-mq6bv Your English is fantastic. It’s he only language I can speak. What is your first language? Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate the kind words. I was in a mood the day I wrote that. I’ve decided I’m going to start a felted bag for myself if can find my pattern. Haha. I worked on one of my quilts today. A long way to go. It will be for my oldest daughter and so in law for Christmas. Queen size. My largest quilt so far. I enjoy my time sewing. I will continue tomorrow after church. Thanks again. I apologize for sounding like a petulant child.
@@bethmacdonaldstone Thank you fr your response, Beth. Feeling better today. Have two patterns I want to start. I think part of my problem is that I’m always too hot now so I don’t really wear sweaters anymore. I can do shawls and scarves. I’ve gifted most of my knits. But I will start anew. I love color so knitting and quilt making appeal to me. I’m very interested to learn more about your island lifestyle. Looking forward to the next video. You’re a natural in front of a camera.
Beth, great 1st podcast. Thanks for sharing your thoughts behind your knits. I bought the Blue Boxy and look forward to knitting it this season. I've never been to Bermuda so I'm interested in hearing about your life there. My grandparents are from the Azores so you had me at the intro! Enjoy Rhinebeck. Looking forward to your next YT upload. Best of luck to your son! Sixteen is a hard but exciting age.
Wonderful! There are so many people here from the Azores! Somewhere I'd really like to go and visit. Heard so much about it and it sounds like heaven - those hydrangea hedge rows seem too good to be true! Because there are so many Azoreans in Bermuda, there are direct flights a few times a year and would be great to take advantage of that. I think its a 4 hour or less flight. Hopefully one day! Thanks for watching. Hoping to record and publish another episode next week.
Lovely
I just subscribed, nice to meet you , I can’t wait to hear about Bermuda and your life there , blogs are like penpals of my youth in a way ! I’m in Northern California I knit and crochet - Christy

nice podcast, Beth. Looking forward to the next one
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Beth for sharing your design ideas with us. As a fellow 🇨🇦 , I’m already wearing cooler weather sweaters. Your design process was very interesting to hear as well as focusing on specific body features. I’m definitely going to shop your Designer pattern page. 😍🧶
Wonderful! Thank you!
Excellent job! Your first podcast is a smash hit, as far as I’m concerned. Appreciated hearing about your deign esthetic. Looking forward to your next installment.
Thanks so much!
I really enjoy your podcast and stories of Bermuda life. You are so encouraging to do our own thing and explore. TFS
I'm so glad! I think it's so important to knit for your own body and I look forward to discussing that more. Thank you!
Just found you and I absolutely loved watching you! I loved hearing about Bermuda and your designs. I can't wait to see what comes next! My17 year old son just got his drivers license and I completely understand the anxiety of letting your teenager drive by themselves.
Thank you! Definitely not easy letting our kids drive eh?!?! So important for their growth but holy crow is it scary!!! :)
Oh I just found your new podcast. I can’t wait for deep dean. I’m in Brisbane australia, similar climate to Bermuda . But we’re going into our hot humid summer . I made your chalice vine sweater this year. I love it so much .
Welcome aboard! So glad you liked the Chalice Vine Sweater. Thank you!
Soo beautiful your Sweaters ...wouldn't know which one to pick...
Thank you!
I love your designs! Looking forward to the next one! Beautiful sweaters ❤
Thank you! Cheers!

Amazing Knits. I love your paternal. I saw that Leslie Fri d is testing Starry, Starry Night and I can’t wait till you talk about that one. It’s already on my to knit list. 🖤🤍🖤

Nice podcast. I admire your designs and would benefit from hearing you talk about style, fit and design for different body types.
Great and I definitely plan on more conversations along this line for sure. Thank you!
Congratulations 🎉!!! On your first podcast! It was so much fun and well done.
My Grandma LOVED Bermuda and had planned to take me there when I was eight but unfortunately she got sick and passed. It’s a goal of mine to visit the island in her memory. 💚🧶💚
Yay! Thank you! I hope you make it to Bermuda one day!
I just found your podcast and am now a fan! I love your style and story, and the glimpses of your beautiful athletic pup too. I’m late to the party, but if by any chance you still need test knitters for Deep Deen, I would love to! It’s stunning. (I was already trying to plan yarn when I heard you say it’s not out yet.). Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you so much! That test is well underway and the pattern will be out in February.
Hooray! Something to look forward to in dark wet Seattle February ❤
Congrats on your podcast and RUclips channel!

Enjoyed your podcast ❤ and hello from Nova Scotia we are waiting for storm Lee as well
Welcome!! Take care! I'd imagine the wind is getting a bit wild for you right about now. Stay safe and cozy inside!
So glad you have a podcast - really enjoyed it and I love your style and ideas. I just put a few of your patterns in my cart and I look forward to seeing you more! Also I love hearing about life in Bermuda!😊

I would love to make the Soncy pullover!!!
Great! It will be published early October. Stay tuned & thank you!
A very successful podcast ❤ thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I am intrigued with your patterns. I haven’t done color work yet, but I am thinking about doing your color work sweater. We honeymooned on Bermuda 20+ years ago. What a beautiful place to live!
Oh wonderful! Yes Bermuda is beautiful. I really love it. Thank you for your note
Thanks for the great video!😁 amazing sweaters!❣️
Thank you!! 😊
Well that was fun 💪🏻💕 I’m a RUclips lover so thank you! Bikes 😳 we went to Bali for a couple of months when my children were 12 and 14 and our only mode of transport were bikes. My first time and I decked into a rice paddy field with my daughter on the back. The road was 80% potholes and I didn’t navigate well 🤭😳🤣 balance are I are not good friends! They learnt to ride (in the quiet local areas). It was a chaotic adventure as there are no rules and loads of traffic. My husband is also a speed demon so I had to keep up - weaving in and out and overtaking everyone and I was not a bike rider - not even a bicycle rider so….. 😱 Fun and I loved it (no choice really!) but I had trouble adjusting to Australia when we came home, everything felt so slow. Hard not to worry so may he be safe and may you be calm, happy knitting, Karen 🥰
Thank you Karen! And what an adventure in Bali! You are a trouper for sure!!! I follow you're knits and posts on Instagram so quite an honor to receive this note from you. Thank you! Take care & happy knitting!!!
Excited to see more of what’s to come from your channel! All of these designs look gorgeous, and I love your conversational style. 😊
Thank you so much!!
