    Great conversation with Shawn, but it'd be great if the interviewer can interrupt less to allow for the guest to share more.

      I was too excited to talk about his pieces but thank you for pointing it out.

      @@larry.l totally agree , interviewer can let the interviewee talk and elaborate a bit more .. and not rush things

      Yep fully agree. I am sure constant is very knowledgeable on the watches but was too quick to jump in and cut the guests off. Such conversations should center around the guests to talk about their collecting journey rather than interviewer showcasing knowledge. Also, too much use of fillers like “erm” and “ahh” and “you know”and the use of a lot of local parlance like “crazy man” or “very cool man” which makes the discussion very unnatural and cringy…

      Please be prepared with your line of questions, being excited is a poor excuse. Use of proper grammar would also be much appreciated.

    Mate you’re interviewing the guy right? Let the man speak of his collection. You ask your question, then listen. Food for thought.

    This video reminds me of the RM 003-V1 Tourbillon Dual Time Zone I added to my collection, which I bought in Singapore back in 2003. It was quite a challenge to purchase from an authorized dealer back then. Now, I'm planning to do some research to find out its current worth. As a collector, I see my watches as investments, and I'm curious to see how much this one has appreciated.

      Great that will fetch you some cash. *I used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $25million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.

      How did you grow your portfolio to $25m, I'm impressed, I have a lump sum in the bank, the rates are not impressive so I'm moving it, what's your cash flow like?

    • @michealpnoel
      @michealpnoel Месяц назад +1

      I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs like VOO and SCHD. I have also started acquiring some tech ETFs, including IITU and IUCM.
