I’m 18 now and have been a patient of his since i was a child. He’s one of the nicest doctors you’ll ever meet if you get the chance to. Had a conversation with him about his watches before and it was really special to me as it had sparked my interest for watches as well. A true inspiration and a genuinely humble and kind man.
Dr Cheong's passion for craftsmanship and life is beautiful. I would like to see him design a watch for the company of his choice . He understands life is meant to be enjoyed and that individualism is what keeps everyone unique and psychologically healthy .

Wow, so much salt in here.. dont be jealous.. u could see that he is passionate about collecting watches, regardless of how much the independents / watches r (1 mil$ or a 500-800$ seiko) . Its rly an interesting collection that does not seem to be similar with any other person’s flex it (nautilus, royal oak in just precious metals or diamonds). Not my kinda of taste in watches, but fully respect the passion.

Dr Bernard is definitely not that kind of Dr that will bear with your nonsense. He is very straightforward in his views. I am one of his patients regardless any acute illnesses, his medicine always works. I really impress with his watch collections and I really agree that a gd watch last a long way and every watch there is a story behind. I hope I able to pass down a gd watch with a memorable sentimental value to my next generation.

With the new business and retail models approaching with 5G, Block Chain and more important...post Covid -19. I have much work at the new restructure of the Watch Retail and buying patterns lined up for at least 5 to 8 years....but the direction will be very fluid. All I know is that I am about to live my Fifth or Sixth life. I want it to be different from my first 3....enough sucess, wealth, money, selfishness... it is genorosity time!!! If you are a millinial, and have not been at the birth of the internet and the watch collecting hobby/craze in 1998... This is a narrower path I have accidentally left behind. Choose it for Wei, SJX and the late comers like Hodinkee etc etc...so many. However, if it is fortune they want.... I have left some for them. Like I said...generous.

For those curious .. don't buy fakes to wear. Collecting fakes (before 2017) was challenging but NOT encouraged today on. Do not WEAR them...many reasons. Many guests will recall all my car keys had a luxury watch fake which would be fun at the valets...especially during the watch events in the early 2006. These were VERY good fakes which were never stolen! Singapore is honest. The collecting of superlative fakes of RM may be the most challenging task I ever tried back in 2015 to 2018.... it helped to STOP it. I would not encourage any one to try, it is expensive, because you will need contacts and travel....which would cost time, (they were VERY rare, and often custom made one at a time by very good youths in many most surprising places!!!). Those from 2004 to 2008 forums would know my expenses for much work done, books, tech, designs, markets, was zero. No cost. All money went right back to growing more watchmakers...not to me. To the curious remarks, I am happy, very happy indeed, because this fake RM 35 did great damage to the good brand. Thank you for noticing...these are among 30 to 50 VERY fine fakes (for that era) collected during a time I worked within the watch industry (before the web forums) as a collector... it began with finding only Rolex, FM and PAM. I would search the whole planet, travel to Russia, Germany, plus some European cities and China for weeks at a stretch to find the source and the really good ones. I treasure the superb fakes of RM and PAM the most....this one was the earliest good fake to appear...followed by rapid superlative fakes of many solid backed brands...they were VERY rare, and often custom made one at a time by very good youths in many surprising places!!! SUPERB. I wear inexpensive and the very rare to priceless watches, together (less socially awkward). Psychological labels are UNAVOIDABLE for any passion, from cars to huge homes...worse, for those who had no success with money (most times), and it is not their fault. Life happens. Life happened to me, and I did what I wanted with it... ie to grow its rewards, enjoy it, learning to return it to BOTH the less fortunate (and the powerful companies) within my circle of influence.

My first job was a garderner for Wesley Church, in 1971... in India, I was temporarily homeless, and slept on the streets in Delhi, for just a week...some error in admin. Plus I had to save money. I still live in my first home, never upgraded to a bigger house. Sentomental. So..grateful to have friends and a huge support framework...that gave me almost all that I have, I work(ed) only for charity and personal joy since 2001.

My first job was a garderner for Wesley Church, in 1971... in India, I was temporarily homeless, and slept on the streets in Delhi, for just a week...some error in admin. Plus I had to save money. I still live in my first home, never upgraded to a bigger house. Sentomental.
So..grateful to have friends and a huge support framework...that gave me almost all that I have,
