Cristiano Ronaldo is the most followed human on Earth. Also being the GOAT in the most popular sport in the world is on a different level than any other sport that exists. Reason is because hundreds of millions more people play it than any other sport so it makes it even more crazier to be in that GOAT STATUS.

@Owen Kaihura Kihonge yeah well, have you seen a game with Argentina? It's not like messi is bad.. he serves up his teammates and they miss sitters every fucking game. Whilst Portugal has great youth academies which are crushing the world right now. I mean have you seen their team? They're beating anyone right now with or without Ronaldo. Hopefully Messi gets to move next year so he can prove he can be great anywhere, cause he ain't bad against any team from any league. Most players in all teams in all leagues say Messi is the best and the hardest to play against.. Most of those who say Ronaldo is players he's played with who has great respect for him and his work ethic. Which isn't to play it down.. it's pretty incredible. But credit where credit is due. Yo I have to say this: I've been watching Ronaldo highlights for almost 15 years now. The first time I watched him play I was 9 and they were playing in the World Cup vs England. Watching him made me completely re-understand the game of soccer and fall in love with the sport. He is my favorite athlete of all time, tied with LeBron (I'm from Cleveland). For someone whos seen almost all of the highlights he's ever produced, ever, watching someone watch them for the *first* time, and react just as I did when I discovered him, really captured some of that joy that I've felt over the years watching and even trying to replicate what he did in my own rec games all those years ago. Ronaldo has scored so many amazing goals. They are countless. So many goals you can remember. The long shoot against Porto. The header against Chelsea in the UCL final. The bicycle kick against Juventus. The free kick against Arsenal. The free kick against Spain in the 2018 World Cup. It goes on and on.

Honestly to really appreciate Ronaldo’s greatness you gotta understand then situations he’s been put it and he always exceeds expectations. Always challenging himself to be better and always winning. He’s had some amazing games in some of the biggest games in his career. These highlights were nice but you’re only scratching the surface when it comes to CR7!

Nice react, cheers. best way to describe a nutmeg is an nba player passing the ball through an opponents legs to a team mate, larry bird was a master at it. Again, same as in nba, footy/soccer has quite a few sublime GOATS. I personally feel blessed that Lionel Messi and Christiano ronaldo playing pretty much in same era was a blessing to us mere mortals from the footy Gods. Basically "you aint getting this ball", blink and nothing but net.

Quan is a great name, fun, easy to remember. Pausing and replaying things you found interesting is good, you take control of the vid this way otherwise we are rewatching the original vid with minor commentary. Great verdict at the end, you can't get a decision on who is better from a couple of videos, these two titans have been battling it out since 2006 and you might not know soccer much but you respect it by acknowledging more research is needed before picking a winner. great vid.

He started professional in 2002, at Sporting in his home country Portugal(17y/o). He went to Manchester United in England, the then best team in England where he came as a 18y/o potential star. He had a lot of pressure because of his pricetag and his number (7) which is an iconic number at United. After 6 succesful years (breaking lots of records and winning trophies) he went for a world record €94m to Real Madrid (Spain) where he came into Lionel Messi's league (Barcelona) since then he broke all the possible records at Real Madrid and left being the topscorer of the club (fun fact: more goals then games). After winning quite literally everything team-wise as individually he is now playing for Juventus (Italy) where he is still going strong at 35y/o. He has been quite literally on top of the world of football for the last 12/13 years.

The best way to describe it is, Ronaldo is probably the most complete attacking forward as someone who can consistently score from any position and any range whereas Messi is the best textbook forward, someone who is mostly dangerous inside and around the goalkeeper's 18 yard box. Ronaldo has a larger arsenal but Messi can be just as effective with less complicated moves. At their peak when they were both playing in the Spanish league against each other they were scoring about 50 goals in a 38 game season, mind you a good scoring season is usually at a 50% or even 65% scoring rate but these guys were scoring more goals than they were playing. These two players will go down in history as the greatest goal scorers of the century in all of football around the world. When is comes to soccer there are 3 names that will forever go down as the greatest to ever touch the field. Ronaldo, Messi, and Ronaldinho. If Messi and Ronaldo are the Kobe and Lebron of soccer, then Ronaldinho would be our Michael Jordan.

@@ProGamerKF yes, Ronaldo has advantage with his posture. If you take a look at him before he was join Manchaster United. He's just an average football player and then Sir Alex found him, train him, give him an opportunity to be a football star. And the rest is history. That's why I said Ronaldo is really a hardworking person.
Messi. Take a look at this video.

In that video, He was at the age 6 or 7.

The kick in which one leg is crossed behind the other is typically called a “rabona.” Taking the feet around the ball without touching is called either a scissor or a step over depending on the direction. The passes with the outside of the foot are called “trivela” in Portuguese or “tres dedos” sometimes. The sombrero is where a player juggles the ball over another player and brings it down on the other side.

Ronaldo is a professional since he was 17, at the age of 18 in 2003, he moved to Manchester United in England where he overtook the English League by storm and eventually became the best player in the World in 2006. after 6 years in England he moved to Real Madrid in Spain, where he remained 9 years winning several European ChampionsClubs League. after 9 seasons there he moved to Juventus (Italy) in 2 seasons he already won 2 League titles. he's now 35 but he says he can keep it up until he's 40, which I believe will be possible because he works very hard his physical form, physical he's a 'monster' moreover he's genuinely passionate about what he does and dedicated to humanitarian causes, always donate large sums to victims of natural disasters in his home country Portugal.

He's the greatest goalscorer of all time. 16 years old when he appeared for his club's first team in professional football and sold to Manchester United at 18, off to play in the world's physically most challenging league and he dominated it. After that he went to spain. During his 9 years at Real Madrid, the biggest club in history of football, he appeared in 438 matches in which he scored 450 times. 50 goals a year on average. He's close to breaking the world record for most goals for the national team, across all nations. This will be one among many records he holds and I really doubt any of them will be broken in the near future, if ever.
    edit: greatest *goalscorer*
