Good point about the shirt. Natives dressed differently for different situations. Not too often pointed out.

@@brianwallis3991 it was gifted to me a few years ago. If you're looking for one I suggest looking at crazy crow catlog or Panthers primitive they have similar ones.

    LINEN...
Not cotton.... and wool. Cotton became more common after the invention of the cotton gin.

Good info. Just a suggestion: Get a simple tripod and a mount for the phone. This will let you make the video steady. The movement makes it difficult to watch-kind of like getting seasick. EVen better is get a simple video camera that can accept an external microphone, and a directional microphone. Sound is also vital.

Very informative. Glad you got a tripod, hopefully no more seasickness!🤣🤣🤣
I’d suggest re-doing this since you have a tripod and better microphone (?). So much good information you had in this video. Great presentation and going into the details of the items.👍

Again, as stated earlier, great presentation, but is your powder horn backwards? It’s my understanding also it’s worn on the right side, because when re-loading the rifle is held in the left hand. Unless maybe you’re left handed?🤣🤣

I don't know if that will be video I can do in the future or not. But a outfit of pre European contact whould have consist of leather leggings and moccasins as seen in this video just with a leather breech cloth in summer no shirt whould be worn but in winter hides along with possible simple heavy leather shirt had been worn. As far as accessories wampum, natural material woven sashes and porky roaches whould have still been worn. Hope this help some.

Yes, they had cloth by the 1700's. Even during the late 1600's. It was a trade item. It was crude by our standards of today, but it was cloth and available to most tribes who engaged in trade with outsiders.

If he's out in the summer not covered from head to toe. He is native to this planet. Not getting sunburned. He is native to the planet. The Sun Shines on every continent. He shouldn't have to cover up in the summertime. If he is native to the planet and not 👽 to the planet. If you are native to the planet you shouldn't have to wear sunblock because the sun loves you on your planet. It don't want to kill you.
