After winning this tournament Pakistan went on to win so many white ball tournaments till it reached the pinnacle 1992 World Cup. ( famous ones are Nehru cup 1989, 1989 Sharjah champions trophy, 1990, austral Asia cup, 1991 Willis cup and main event 1992 World Cup).

Other hand Ind never forget this match.but over-all they play also great till last ball.Both arrivals plays there best, but always end remains in one side,& that was Our day.we also never forget this event from that day till this date.
