It annoys the mess out of me that before the game everyone was saying that FSU would lose because Louisville was "the best team we'd play all year", but then after the game it was, "FSU beat a terrible team, what did you expect".
Yeah people were throwing Louisvilles QB under the bus but he actually played a decent game. Dudes were just covered and he didn't have any time
They actually were a really good team but FSU made them look really bad.

Really good defenses make decent offenses look bad. This defense is story is now over because of 12. We will never truly know how great is defense was. I truly think that the defensive coordinator was just doing enough to get through the season then he was going to unleash that defense that defense had another gear that will never get to see. I truly believe that we only scratched the surface of that defense.

ESPN and the committee would have been going crazy talking about how insane the defense was and how much the team deserved to go to the playoff, if it were any other team than FSU.

I'm glad to see this attention going to that amazing performance by our Noles. One of many tragedies of this whole invitational snub is we had no time to savor that victory. No one will ever convince me that this team wasn't going to win it all this year. And anyone who thinks that wasn't possible is a fool or just never watched us play.

How does this game's performance by the defense compare to how they played in the 2nd half against LSU? Speaking of the LSU game, I couldn't help but notice all the questionable unnecessary roughness penalties the refs called against us in the first half that contributed to LSU being able to score 17 points. Not just off the yardage gains from the penalties, but also how it forced FSU to be less aggressive in its play for fear of getting flagged again.
Still gave up dinner yesterday vs LSU but they was also an amazing performance vs an even better offense

As others have said, would have loved to see how this defense played against the playoff teams. For anybody who actually watched the games, it was easy to see this defense could have kept FSU in the game with any team.

That was a really refreshing and just overall pleasant presentation of some of the insanely impressive accomplishments our Noles have worked so hard for to achieve. With everything that has happened to this team since the ACC Championship win (and, the BS, hardships, hurdles and trash talk that still continues to be thrown in our direction) the celebration of that win was heavily diluted, if not completely stomped out, by the events that followed. That was a nice way to lift the dark clouds that loom, and remember that no matter what happens in the future or what negative things other folks have to say, the 2023 season for FSU was something to be proud of and deserves to be celebrated ❤. GO NOLES!!!!!!!

Couldn't help but notice Penn State had three of best six YPPA games of this entire college football season. Historically bad offenses notwithstanding, that was a defense for the ages.

It's a shame but we will never truly know how great this defense is or was the question mark will always be there forever college football playoff robbed college football not just Florida State this defense could have proved to be the greatest defense of all time and that's a lot considering the players that has come through Florida State and the defenses this school has had. That used to be true, but elite offense and the schemes they run are almost impossible to defend on a weekly basis. Defense is still important but not as important as an elite offense.

FSU, Clemson, Miami, Virginia Tech, UNC, Virginia - name 6 schools that LOST their most recent football game with the Wolfpack. So WHO is actually the CURRENT best team in the league? The last time I saw FSU on my TV, they were losing in the 2nd quarter to North Alabama.
Last time I saw NCSU they were getting blown out by Dukes back up QB.
