    Chubba Purdy is great for this offense. Hopefully he gets some snaps against Samford

    The one where someone motions is an RPO as well. It’s considered an “RPO Peek”, whereas the ones with the WR are considered “RPO Bubbles”

      Cool! Thanks for the input I had never hear the term peek for that motion. Always appreciate learning something new

    Good explanation over an incongruous music loop.

      What do you mean? Do you have tips so I can improve going forward? Thanks!

    Watching these videos , I realized that Willie Taggart didn't know anything about offense, Norvell's offense has strategy and purpose not trickery

    Great content!! Very informative. One suggestion though... you gotta change the music or lower it. It's kinda distracting. Good stuff either way. Go noles!!!

      Someone suggested that to me before. I appreciate the input. Watch my new video and let me know if that's a bit better

    This only works if he has a good line. Blitz packages against this line will kill us.Line must be able to recognize defenses and make adjustments.

    Is norvell actually a good coach ?

    • @XsandNoles
      @XsandNoles  4 года назад +1

      I would like to think so. The man definitely knows what he's doing and has a plan to get there. It's anyone's guess to whether he can

      @@XsandNoles even though he has a 0-4 record in bowl games he is above .500 winning percentage, and he's a great mentor and coach teacher for his assistants, from the four years that he was there a lot of coaches left to power 5 teams like Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Penn State. so if his assistants were offered by those bigger schools than you know that Norvell is a awesome teacher and mentor and he knows how to coach

      @@FSUSean2112 Not that it matters, but he's 0-3. He didn't coach the Cotton Bowl. They should have beaten Iowa State and Wake Forest, but he'll definitely win bowls at FSU.

    best if QB can run...

    • @andrecarter7971
      @andrecarter7971 3 года назад

      QB isn’t a runner in an RPO concept. This would be just as effective with a non mobile QB.

    How is the offensive line supposed to adjust post snap?

    • @XsandNoles
      @XsandNoles  4 года назад +1

      They don't. That's why so many penalties have been called over the past few years b/c they're only allowed to be three yards down field at most when the QB throws. This limits the RPO to quick routes

  • @stgann510
    @stgann510 4 года назад

    isn't this the Mullen offense?

    • @XsandNoles
      @XsandNoles  4 года назад

      So this isn't a whole offense just one or two concepts. Most spread offenses now a days have some RPO plays within them

    • @XsandNoles

      Good question though!

  • @charlesmcclain630
    @charlesmcclain630 3 года назад

    rpo is to slow and seems like decision is already made instant qb gets the ball.no opportunity to work through checks.o-line can't seem to decide to pass block or run block,even rbs&qbs seem confused.why are recivers having such a hard time getting open?why can't our defense seem to make in-gamecorrections N C slot reciever found hole in zone way to quick and easy maybe a consult with a geometry &physics professor would help.
