Actually My interpretation from the video why she wash off the blood in the shower is because she starting fresh, and she is more vibing with her crew, after she broke up with her bf. Also, plus the upside down part is a little nod/reference to the Netflix's show "Stranger Things." But the video concept is more horror/dreamy but dystopian with a dash of apocalypse type of video.

@@tatiannabaker3943 No it really is inspired by different levels of backrooms, all the visuals in the video are inspired by liminal places to make it seem like a lucid dream. Not only the "creepy space" which is the empty space with lights flickering at level 0 of backrooms, but also the whole pink bedroom scene is inspired by level 974 of backrooms I think and the dead empty mall being level 33. I think even the meaning of the song, the title and the visuals are completely opposite. The title is "Agora hills", the visuals are about her being trapped alone in liminal places that don't even exist in real life suggesting "AGORAphobia" which is some kind of fear of going outside and leaving your comfort place and safe environment. Then the lyrics are a complete contrast, she's saying "I wanna show you off", "kissing I hope they caught us", "suck a lil d in the bathroom", "take you around the world" which is more of "AGORAphilia", which means a love for public life, being in public places, being in the public eye and getting attention.

So now that Doja Cat has just released an interview where she explained it all: yalls comments about her being a devil worshiper is completely wrong. The entire album and its theme is simply her making fun of everyone who was so gullible to fall for that belief based on rumors. At the end of the video she wears a shirt that says “Queen of blowjobs”, this is supposed to make it obvious that it’s just a joke.
Embracing the rumors gave people like you a reason to keep paying attention to her and providing revenue, which she references in the the song Attention when she says “but ain’t the bad press good?”. Congrats, you were successfully trolled by a silly celebrity lol
