Its a good park John it had been run down and Holgates over 3 years have worked hard to put new roads in lighting / electrics and hard standing pitches there is a small bar to thats on the park but its great for exploring the area let me know if you do and your thoughts - staff are friendly too-thanks for watching

Stayed on a hard standing touring pitch, nice site and location. Only problem was couldn’t drive awning pegs into gravel, seemed to be a concrete base a few inches down. Next door had same problem.
Ahh right I think originally concrete bases for old smaller statics this was a farm site from the 50s I think I used to go on club site at Kendal that was same but it was limestone underneath ! Thanks for that tip

Thats strange Holgates do a good job - I have stopped on thos several times and thopught it a good park
