i had offers from kcl, edinburgh and strathclyde as well as other unis outside the uk - i chose warwick mainly for my course which they don't do anywhere else + i really liked the campus when i visited! i'd assume one of the biggest differences is ucl being a city uni vs warwick being a campus uni so i'd probably consider what kind of location you'd prefer!
tbh I was mostly only involved with the more academic/career societies but i enjoyed events and projects with enactus, econ soc, women in econ, tedxwarwick, and wbs society!
@@jq4-s hi! i'm joining warwick this September to study ppe and I really want to focus more on economics (didn't apply for it in the beginning because I was still unsure and naive)--do you reckon joining econ societies and such would benefit me?
yeah definitely! if you want more concrete econ in your degree i’d suggest taking optional modules from the economics department. econsoc, wfs, and those kinds of societies can help with the career side
hey! great video! what are you studying at warwick?
thank you! i do epp - economics, psychology and philosophy
