There needs to be more recognition of the true owners of Australia. The crowd needs to learn the anthem in the indigenous languages to show their respect and show they truly want to apologise for what they did. The welcome to country needs to be longer with people in the crowd kneeling down. The jersey needs to be fully aboriginal art. Doing things in a half arsed manner is just not good enough.
@@MrRugbylane yes but the womens’ rugby team players are not allowed to blow on the didgeridoo unless they are transgenders because our culture views women as inferior beings to men and we cannot allow them to blow on our sacred instrument.
OWelcome to country is completely up to the elders of the nations who’s land the game js on to take charge. There is no input from the ground or teams, so that’s up to them how long and what they do. - I agree with the national anthem. Only small issue is the multitude of languages that aboriginal and Torres straight islanders have. They should try to have one for the nation the game is on, hence the one at parramatta stadium (Eora nation) and the Yugambeh language up at Suncorp. So not super easy, it is up to the locals whether they want to to be, or even sadly if the local language is still alive. The kiwis have it much easier with a more homogenous Māori language.
Hoops is great, but one must wonder how the wallabies would go with Liam Wright or Fraser McReight as the prime fetcher
Go wallabies!!
Warrior
Good luck to the SH teams this weekend
