    Curiously there are studys that show that exposure to sunlight (not direct in the eyes nor the face) in early years of development improves eyesight. Is clear that, that is the reason for many people to suffer from bad eyesight and require glasses, due to lack to that exposure in early years. Obviously depending on the zone or skin tone, sunscreen is a must unless sun is taken before 10 am and after 4pm

    • @monkeywithbrain-1

      Not only that but our distance vision muscles are severely underused today because of all the time spent indoors and reading/watching close up. This causes an imbalance in the eye muscles which blurs your far vision. It is reversible if you just do the opposite of what got you there tho, that is getting sunlight and using your far vision regularly. Btw dont promote sunscreen its bad for you.

    • @gerdin2
      @gerdin2 2 дня назад +1

      @ExcellentHealth Interesting, could you explain why you prefer TRLCD technology like the daylight computer has over e ink? Im planning to get one of them but not sure which is overall healthier
      TRLCD still has alot higher refresh rate and still emits light. E ink has much lower refresh rate and emits no light at all

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  2 дня назад +1

      From what I understand, the daylight computer doesn't have a flicker, doesn't emit light unless you want to use it that way, and is endorsed by Dr. Jack Kruse. If Kruse approves it, a multitude of factors that we haven't even thought about have been accounted for.

    How about TV's? Is there a way to clear out the blue and green lights at some degree? I know PC monitors have a RGB menu to take out those, but TV's, not so sure about that.
    Meanwhile I am going to tweak f.lux to be as red as possible dring night time and also just installed Twilight on my phone. I think this will upgrade the light environment I am in. What do you use in your devices? (EDIT: I have seen there is free version of Iris, that may be better than f.lux. Maybe this Iris version is better than f.lux, testing is the way to go)
    Great interview by the way!

    Question. I had IOL lens replacement 2 years ago. And I’ve currently learned about how important uv is for your eyes. And blue light blocking is critical. With my new lenses having uv protection in them.. I’m now understanding I may have a long term problem.. Do I need to reverse this procedure? And are blue blockers effective with these new lenses? Thank you

    • @ExcellentHealth
      @ExcellentHealth  Месяц назад +1

      You absolutely need to reverse the procedure. You either do that or you move to a high UV environment like Mexico and you spend a lot of time outside. Blue light from the sun is critical. You only want to block it from artificial sources.

    • @ExcellentHealth

      @trollmcclure1884 what determines the type of light is the wavelength of the light, not the color you see. UV doesn't affect the circadian clock.
