    Trent,
    @StuPierce77 pretty much summed up what I was thinking about posting.
    It was very decent of you to feature one of your flying buddy's aircraft on your channel.
    Toby was beaming from ear to ear regarding the recognition of his built aircraft!
    Toby's humble attitude but very informative commentary is what the GA flying community needs to keep promoting!
    The brother and sisterhood of Back Country Flying is an epic experience, I'm sure!
    I thoroughly enjoyed this video, showcasing other aircraft, and it is due in part to the humbleness of the recognized individual!
    Maybe a little more formation air to air and a wingman fly along, if possible, would be another awesome adventure!
    Thanks for sharing!

    DAAAAAMN. A 39' 7' wingspan is awesome. I thought my DA40 had a crazy span. Must be a similarly healthy wing load. Trying to find a hangar that wide is another story I imagine. For me it is.

    That's really cool!! Hats off to "fellow old guy" (I'm 72)!! I was always a little leery about the X-pacer's. I didn't think there was enough beam in the center of the wing, they always looked a little "floppy". 5 extra feet on each side, you can make it as "beefy" as you think it needs to be. I like the extra tail also, I would even go higher. You can make everything the way you want it!! I'd like another 50kph to the Vne, even though it would never see that!! 8) Peace --gary

Never a problem. Second one was my buddies, subsequent recover. Owner was SCARED of it. Had no problem with it. Got used to squirrely-ness right away. Loved both the Pacers. Wished I had another. Flew C-180s never a problem. Flew PA-15s, PA-17 etc never an issue. Natural born tail dragger pilot. Flew Acrobatics in a Citabria, lots of fun.

  • @EXROBOWIDOW
    @EXROBOWIDOW Месяц назад +1

    Our son's SAE Aero Design team in college was having trouble with their design for competition. My husband may have tried to drop a hint about the tail being too short. The competition features RC airplanes that can lift heavy weight. But first, the plane must be able to fly. Bigger wings may lift more weight. Bigger wings also require a bigger tail. That year they never did create a plane they could control.

Because there is a Bryant Producer STC, Super Pacer STC and others, they wanna see things like a completely different engine like automotive or something crazy, and plan to not only fly enough for proficiency, but show it off too.
