It's hard to leave because regardless of everything they have become a familiar part of ur life . Basically like a security blanket, something u expect to be there, regardless of how the relationship has been. I am going through the same thing, I have been with my husband for 24 years(since I was 15 now I'm 41) and when u have children together it makes it that much harder to walk away. It's one of those things that unless u are dealing with it, going through it, or have experienced it, u wont understand the hardness of leaving and starting over . I have been in my situation for like almost a year and it sux. I know what I NEED to DO but it seems so far out to accomplish and move forward.I wish u the best, and i truly hope everything works out the best for/with u🙂

14 years and 2 kids later it was so hard but once you leave all your fears of being alone will slowly fade
