The casual 32 life off of zombees was the pinnacle of this deck. I'm glad this deck is better than it used to be and I think that people are still refining the perfect deck (but it definitely isn't Renethal)
I think from the depths has the potential to make the deck a lot better. With trial by fire going to 6, there are a lot more turn 4 power plays discoverable off of from the depths. And of course the occasional Odyn on 6 is helpful
warrior being still tier 2 shows how deep the class was 😂 Edit: i should clarify i was obviously talking about control warrior. Love your videos regis can’t wait to see more duels! I hope you are having an amazing time with your family ❤️
Problem about warrior is that the meta gone faster that even if they put up tones of armor doesn't matter anymore unlike before, and unlike priest and mage who manage to have control archetype despite of aggressive metta is that they have a capability of discovering removal spells or spells that could delay the aggression of aggressive decks witch warriors doesn't have.
its a card design problem from incompetent HS developers that think warrior cards should have 2018 power level so they act surprised when its at the bottom and hardly being played so they are forced to buff so many cards to make the class relevant.
This deck carried me to legend, just made it yesterday. I’ve always loved playing warrior, I was playing it before it got buffed and was stuck in the last diamond tier. Finally got over the line last night. Thanks for the list :) I did tech in an ETC for starfish, steam cleaner and viper instead of a shield block.
I have played against the new Control Warrior I will say if it can survive past turn 7 it can win almost every time. Aggro is still a big issue for Control Warrior.
I’ve been playing 40 card armor warrior, starting at 1200 legend, playing 2 games a day. I haven’t lost a single time and I’m 520 legend rn. I even beat JAlexander, who was 235 at the time, yesterday.
I wonder how it would be different if the Hero Power was changed to "Gain 3 armor". But warrior really needs better AoE. Like, I kind of wonder if Brawl was "destroy all enemy minions and keep one of your at random" if it would even really help.
It feels like the exact form of Control Warrior has not been found. There's ton of variations, which means its not really agreed upon what exactly is the most optimal list.
It had a lower winrate than 30 card list here. I played both, prefer this one's consistency and lethality. I have a baby to take care of, needed faster games, haha.
@@RegisKillbin30 card decks in general are better because the consistency bonus is often overlooked. The reason why it works so well in hunter is because it enables the class to go mid-late game, as well as it having just more good cards overall (this is just my humble opinion though) :).
This handbuff stuff really has not been good for warrior aside from maybe the 2 cost 1/4 for multiple years now. Warrior lacks mana cheat, as was shown the last time warrior was good (due to oppressive mana cheat).
I play a 40 card version of this deck. Currently trying swaping the 7 mana location (which I feel does more harm than good) with the big Amalgamband (or wtvr it is written). Since it plays with some more minion Types (along with the 1 mana Quilboar that i felt has been winning some games even by just slapping it turn 1 for 2 extra armor against some decks), feel like it's a better 7 drop than the location anyways (heal, removal, etc).
@Regis. I think they did warrior some more. When you played Odin and after that play Minotauren and on the enemy's turn they attack it and with other minions your hero, the other minions take damage. Was this always so? Was that intended or a bug of buff. Never seen that before. Keep up the great work.
It's always been the case that if your hero gains attack on the opponents turn, attacking enemies are damaged. It has just been rare for this to be possible.
Why am I the only one who has had good results with climbing with m warrior? I am diamond 4 and playing since beta. Made a 30 card that included rock and roll as a second win con.
I wish they'd add cycle to Execute and other odd removal cards that aren't easily used except in specific situations. My major pitfall with warrior has always been early game swarming putting me on the backfoot before I can lay down the investments I need to get towards a win.
Control is just not a strong archetype currently. Everyone who's playing a warrior deck is likely better served by playing Enrage, which has huge consistency as well as answers to a variety of opposing decks; and everyone who wants to play control should probably just play BDK instead, which is hilarious since despite being the best control deck it's not even T3. Midrange is the king as of Titans, unless we get even more support in whatever the miniset is.
I think they should nerf it back into the ground. Its an unfair deck and Warrior should remain unplayable. The Warrior class is simply toxic and its design sucks.
The Minotauren into Zombees play was absolutely beautifully. 💯
35:00 "I've never been happier in my life"
32 armor gain > having a baby
Upvote so his wife can see this lmao
i mean he does have a point, babies are born what? every 5 seconds on the world? how many minotauren into zombees have there been in total sofar?

Those undead bees were trying their best! XD
That was mega brain for sure
That 32 armor gain turn.... Single tear rolls down Rexxar's face.

*how deep control warrior was
enrage warrior was the best deck in the game not long ago remember

Exactly. Mage and Priest have near infinite stall and removal. Warrior will run out of steam unless you get your OTK or mega minions ready.
Yeah there isn't really a point to armor when a hunter can blow you up by summoning two giant king krushes that will tear through your armor
Remember Boomsday? Warrior was litteraly infinite value/armor/control. Crazy that mage and priest are warrior basically back in the day.
its a card design problem from incompetent HS developers that think warrior cards should have 2018 power level so they act surprised when its at the bottom and hardly being played so they are forced to buff so many cards to make the class relevant.
Because for a control deck its core removals are very conditional while any other class has easier and cheaper ways to deal with boards

35:12 you are welcome
THANK YOU two. You made me laugh after three days of being down
Thanks, Regis! Now my warrior can walk holding his head up :)
This is a super fun deck! My new favorite in standard

Can I see your deck list? Also congrats on your climb
Only problem is only having time for 2 games a day because control warrior's only weakness is not enough hours in the day
the decks been buffed a few days ago how have you managed to gain 700 rating in 4-6 games?
the even wild warrior feels pretty good
The wind fury with 8 arm gain does work with Odin you get the 8 off the first attack for your second attack
I wonder how it would be different if the Hero Power was changed to "Gain 3 armor". But warrior really needs better AoE. Like, I kind of wonder if Brawl was "destroy all enemy minions and keep one of your at random" if it would even really help.
The fact that warriors still run brawl is a testament to how desperate they are for solid board clears.
The hunter concede when he zombees the minotauren… I think I came.
the zombees. the exact same thing happened to me yesterday .. however i allready had odyn active, that was funny
I can't believe its 2023 and I'm having control priest vs control warrior matches on ladder
It feels like the exact form of Control Warrior has not been found. There's ton of variations, which means its not really agreed upon what exactly is the most optimal list.
@regis have you tried the 40 card deck? Nohandsgamer, Theo and Zeddy all have been playing it.
It had a lower winrate than 30 card list here. I played both, prefer this one's consistency and lethality.

@@RegisKillbin i totally understand I was just wondering if you had.

I rememeber I was playing rock n roll warrior with lothemar and my minotauren was a 22/22 and it procked zombees and he just conceded
i returned to hs this month and choose the warrior enrage deck. with a few tweaks i easily hit legends with 62% winrate. that was before the buffs.
I play a 40 card version of this deck. Currently trying swaping the 7 mana location (which I feel does more harm than good) with the big Amalgamband (or wtvr it is written). That hunter is going to cut zombees from his list 🤣
11:50 This guy should be a yugioh player
OH GOD YES THE BEES

Zombies vs Minotauren is so funny.
Does anyone run taelan in a list like this? Or is it not good enough?
And that's why you never play zoombies against warriors in the current patch.
Why am I the only one who has had good results with climbing with m warrior? I am diamond 4 and playing since beta. Made a 30 card that included rock and roll as a second win con.
Nope the deck seems busted from when i played it. The best lists just haven't been found
All 17 cards were buffed this patch?
No?
This may sound like a stupid question... but can you Bran Odyn?
You can actually from what I recall. Say you gain 2 armor, you then gain 4 attack.
@@superbat1018 That's INSANE. omg. I need to try that now.

Hunters RULES
I react with "today?" 😅
Missed meme with "Control Warrior got OVER 9000 buffs... HOW IS IT BARELY TIER 2??"
mfw i died turn 8 playing odyn to combo shaman at 48 hp
wheres duels regis
not on he,r cry, roland
Honestly if you want to play a good control warrior hop over to wild and play even warrior. Devours the t1 decks atm
I think they should nerf it back into the ground. Its an unfair deck and Warrior should remain unplayable. The Warrior class is simply toxic and its design sucks.
too slow for the faster decks and not aggressive enough vs control priest
17 cards just so it can barely be a tier 2 deck. what a joke.
Man, DK looks so bad in this meta.
Every Odin deck without Taelon is a meme.
Even odyn warrior in wild is still better without taelan 😂
Well, no, actually. The best list with Taelen is the 11th best Control Warrior list.
None of the top 10 lists run him.
@@RegisKillbin Does that hold for top legend?
if Odin goes 6 at least 7 mana i will be vary happy
