Ramy is probably one of the best shows I'll ever watch in my life because there's no way any other show can bring up that kind of personal struggle/anxiety and let you feel it outside of yourself and laugh along the way. The representation was so needed. Cheering these two on so much because their impact on our communities goes wayyyyy deeper than the laughs and I know I don't just speak for myself when I say their comedy and work has been so opening and healing for so many
so true!! i wanna recommend the show Atlanta (also on hulu), i feel like you might like the show too
A conversation between Hasan and Ramy - I’ve been waiting too long for this
Samee
Imagine they have a podcast together talk to each other about everything... I really would love that.. i could listen to that all day.
We're all laughing but this is really significant. Lowkey historic.
i've been waiting for this video my whole life
This was such a lovely conversation. So happy to learn about the way Ramy has fostered talent within his community behind the scenes. I love creators like him, Issa Rae and Quinta Brunson who bring others up with them and create opportunities for new and established talent to showcase their range of skills. Even down to the music. I love it. So happy for him and all that he's accomplished. Also, Hasan looking fine as hell in this fit.
Ramy is simply brilliant and refreshing. I love this guy.
Egyptians a bit older than him know who Amitabh Bachchan is, he was a box office star in the 80s and his movies were aired on national TV during Eid (the hottest broadcast slots of the year), Ramy is just too young to have been around :)
And Amr Waked started as a pretty boy actor with grit, his best known role is in "Ibrahim El Abyad" as Ashri, the Judas to the main character. There is even a phrase that everyone says to joke about being betrayed that is taken from the film, " how much did you sell me for, Ashri?"
definitely an Egyptian cinema gem :)
This is literally gonna be a life-defining conversation for me, huh
What a wonderful conversation after a wonderful season 3 of Ramy. They're both very funny and good at what they do in different ways.
Two profound artists and storytellers of our generation. Love seeing an exchange between such two brilliant people.
Amitabatchan is actually very popular in Egypt.in the 90’s Egypt used to play his movies every Tuesday for almost 20 years.egypt had 2 tv channels back then
I’ve seen everything Hasan. All his stand ups and shows. Now I just saw the first season of Ramy. And LOVE it. And will watch more! I’ve known him but just got Hulu. Loved Mo and seen Mo and Hasan live. Even Fahim. Love Fahim too. Waiting for more Nimesh now. But I’m ready to binge Ramy now.
These 2 together is amazeballs. 💗🌌😄😍
THANK YOU!!!!
This was interesting, entertaining and informative. Thank you.

Wow, 92nd Street Y... Oh the memories of my ten years artist struggle in NYC... It has all gone by in a such blur... bittersweet.
