I am really glad you made this video and said this about military families bc we are a military family too and are not near family..i dont have that a village or support and it def weighs heavy on me! I have a kiddo at school and one still at home so its hard to get out and do the things that i wanna do. ❤
I used to be the hostess a few years ago, just not now after the pandemic 😥I miss it! (love these long videos, folding laundry is a nightmare for me, so these are perfect for that)
House looks great, you are happy this year and more settled. Glad you are hosting other than the mess lol but it is worth it. My granddaughter came home yesterday was there less than an hour had to take her back by ambulance, she is home and they seem to be able to regulate the pain now. After the fact we were then informed it is the worst surgery a child can have. They had to insert a medal rod and pull her sternum forward so she could fully use her lungs and accommodate her heart. When my daughter had her there was a shadow on all the sonograms they thought it was a whole in the heart, she was cleared by a heart surgeon when she was born. Almost 2 years ago at a soccer game she told her mom it was hard to breathe so we found the shadow but it had to wait till 13 for surgery I told her nana is too old for this lol. I had a question tho, would you ever consider giving Kolby the room and bathroom downstairs (since he is so much older than the younger two) or does he not mind at all? I used to host Thanksgiving and Christmas every year when my kids were little. My mom worked as a waitress at a “fancy” inn and always had to work holidays (yes she did get some years off) I loved every minute of it. My parents, his mom, my grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins would stop in…..Then everyone grew up! Now it’s only my mom, husband, me, daughter and son in law (no grandkids). I am so OCD that my bedsheets . I could put them on clean 1 day and if I sweat at all the night before getting changed the next day. Cause I just cannot take it so usually my sheets will get washed and bedding whole bedding. But I have a quilt so at least twice a week
