Good to see the old EJ coming along. I've had several of them in my younger years.
I remember many of them had ill-fitting panels, and yes, you know someone's got an old Holden when you hear that door open. 😁😁

I will look forward to this whole car being completed fully restored.
To whatever its factory condition was.
    Cheers from William.

Few memories here. My first car was an EJ wagon - lime green with a white roof back in 1971. That door sound gave me a bit of a chubby - a standard feature for the time. Payed $350 for it, now a front guard costs 3 times the price of the car!

always good to watch your vids be it tank, jeep or cars. i get a chuckle when you get excited over the typical old car squeaky door. great to see progress on this, maybe some vids on the Landau hiding in the shed in front of the EJ would be nice to see too.👍

Thanks Graham , Just the video I needed .. I ordered a set of these guards after your last video so feeling a lot better after your test fit video showed they are not too bad on fitment :) Even though my originals are probably better than average I decided to fit new ones to avoid removing 60 years of tar and paint and put my factory fenders
    away as spares .

Graham, it almost fits like glove, glad my comment about it being 1/2 inch out in every dimension did not jinx you!😅 for a repro, 60 years after the fact I cannot find a fault in it, worth a grand every day when original is either unobtanium or garbage! Open out a hole or two with a die grinder and its done, cannot get any better than that!

you had better luck than we had with the guards we fitted they must of improved the pressing
that ash tray was just an accessory avaliable for ej/eh's hard to find

the gap on your sills a bit wider than theywere but i'm sure you can adjust it
