Very clear instructions, at least if this matches your pool system. Thank you.

Good explanation. Is there an option to adjust the _rate_ of speed change, so that it is _slow & gradual_ from a low-to-high speed or vice versa?

How would one have the pump increase the speed for solar operation? I have pool low scheduled from early morning to late afternoon to allow the pump to be on and running in the first place and that’s all good but I’m seeing that the pump isn’t ramping up speed like it needs to when that solar actuator opens up. Came out this morning and the solar valve is open but pump is at 1600rpm. That’s no good.

Difficult to answer without knowing the plumbing set up, how it is installed and programmed. Please reach out to your local pool service company for more information.

I searched everywhere online and couldn't find this info either, so I called Pentair and spoke to a CSR for about 10 mins. Here is how you do that: You need to assign a separate circuit name for each pool pump speed. So go into settings -> circuit names. If you only want a high and low setting (to program) keep your "pool" circuit as your low (or high, but generally it's kept as low) and then rename "feature 1" to pool high (low if you're doing it the opposite). Now go to your settings -> intelliflo and for your VS(F) pump assign the speed you want for the pool circuit (low speed) and then separately assign the speed you want in a different number (1-8) for the pool high circuit. The in your schedules, you will see pool as a schedule option and (scrolling down) you will see pool high as a scheduling option. Set the low schedule to the one named pool, and your high schedule to the one named pool high. The CSR told me that overlapping schedules will always default to the higher speed. So if you wanted to do low from 8 AM to Noon, High from non to 4 PM, and then back to low from 4 PM to 8 PM, then set two (overlapping schedules). Set your low from 8 AM to 8 PM, and then set your high from noon to 4 PM. Because there is a maximum amount of schedules the easy touch will accept, this is preferable (only 2 schedules) to creating 3 schedules for each of the 3 times, since it saves a schedule slot for something else (so you don't run out). You could apply the same logic to create 3 speeds, using pool low (low speed), pool (medium speed) and pool high (high speed), assigning the pool low and pool high to features 1 and 2 and following the speed and schedule logic as explained above. Keep in mind, that the assigned "pool" circuit name (speed) is the speed you will get when you press the "pool" button on your remote, so make that the speed you want when you manually turn on the pool pump. In your pump settings, you should only have each circuit name showing up once (to one speed). If you have multiple speeds assigned to same circuit name, I believe it uses the highest speed for your schedules assigned to the circuit name. I hope this explanation helps. It's seems to be a very contrived system, but at least it should be able to do what you need it to.

@@gregsvaughn This was super helpful and i have set up a new low speed using feature 2 as the circuit. Do you have any info on how to get this new circuit name to show in the Screenlogic Connect app?
Also no matter what time i put in for the schedule the pump does not come on with the desired low speed. It keeps defaulting to the regular speed that is with the main filter pool setting. I have tried removing and adding this multiple times but with no luck.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

@@azhar27I’m guessing you got this figured out by now but the higher speed will always take over. Set your low or night speed for 24 hours. Low speed runs from say 4:00am to 3:59 am, pool from sun up to sun down and high speed for a few hours in the middle of the day.
