I reached out to the guy who left the swarm trap and had him meet me at my house. I brought his swarm trap with me and we transferred those bees from my vac to his trap that evening.
The music is Summer Knot by American Legion from Epidemic Sound - Хобби
Looks like a good candidate to set up a couple swarm traps every March. Help even the score with Mr Ed!
I bet she'd let me trap up there too.
Those ‘girls’ found a new home…🐝
Sweet swarm, “I did wonder what the white piece was when you first took the insolation away!”
What a beautiful site…
Thank you Mr Dirt Rooster 🤛🏼🐝💛 from me in Yorkshire UK
Thanks for joining us from the UK
Hey, 628 dirt rooster that was beautiful, You’re just so gentle with the bees 🐝, love watching it catch you on the next one from Canada. Take care, Colleen.🐝🇨🇦🐝
Thanks Colleen. Working on a new one now.
Glad you got the call early for these girls! That was a fun one to watch. 😊
They would have built out fast.
Looks like a fairly easy one. Colony seems gentle.
They were laid back sipping the sweet nectar of the privet hedge bushes.
I agree, this was a very large swarm, and as it was about 10 times the size of one of your normal swarms you catch over there, I'm going to let you count it as 10 singles in our swarm competition. Of course, Jennifer did find it and let you get credit for it. I guess I better get busy and catch more swarms, I can't let you get to far ahead of me. God's peace brother.
Don't spend that Superchat all in one place. :)
Nice work!! Looks like a big healthy swarm.
It’s going to make someone a lot of honey.
That bee sucker did a good job. So did the operator. A nice full box of vacuumed 🐝 bees looking pretty healthy
We try. 😎
I just watched Mr Ed's bunch of angry bees, and then came to see you with a ball of calm in comparison😁
Mr. Ed probably wore his Polo cologne he got from Temu and that set them off.
How many swarm calls do you get a week around this time of the year? It was neat to see one that was that early in sitting up house with that small piece of comb.
I get six or eight calls a day for swarms or cut outs this time of year. Some are scouts, some are out of the area and some are window shoppers.
I've been thinking about starting my own bee keeping, so I went to a bee keeper to get 12 bees, but he gave me 13. I asked why 13 he said, "The last one is a freebee" 😅😅😅.
Heck of a big swarm!! Nice job!
I think that might be the biggest swarm I've gotten this year.
@@628DirtRooster Where’s your Everything Bee Vac? I have the updated bucket with the screen in the bottom.
Thanks Randy. Just did a big cut out under a house today, fortunately it was on stilts and about four feet off the ground.
Good stuff
Something satisfying about watching that job...
We had another one today almost identical to it under a MEMA cottage.
Great job randy, great to see you posting
Thanks for watching
my favorite guy to watch involving honeybees
Good grief, I started a new channel and had such a hard time finding you again! YAY! Can't wait to watch your videos again! Beautiful bees you found there! I learn so much from your videos, so thank you! I only have one hive, and hope to get bees back into it next year. I had back surgery last November and doc said no to lifting the heavy part of my cathedral hive off until next year! So glad I get to watch your videos again! Happy Bee Season and Summer to you and your family!
Glad you found us again. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
@@628DirtRooster Thanks so much!
What a great swarm congrats.
Yes, thanks
You make it look easy... minus the laying under a house part
Laying down on the job is the easiest part. Haha
And those are not little hands like Little Marco Rubio
Rubio got them little soft hands.
That’s what I heard somewhere lol
So beautiful!
It really is!
Beautiful swarm!
It was a nice one. I gave it away.
Thanks for the comments on the how & why - really useful to learn such tips & tricks from you
Glad it was helpful!
Nice looking dark bees there
They were pretty nice as well.
Dang it man.... Got on a furly nice swarm yessir you did!
I thought so too. 😁
I see you are using a different bee vac. Was this swarm too big for the battery operated one? Nice swarm.Bees are swarming early here in Missouri. I have run out of regular hive bodies. For now I have set up a double deep nuc box. I don't want to expand apiary but in a pinch I may have to use three medium supers on a bottom board and a cover.
I accidentally destroyed the motor on the battery vac.
Theres a story there....lol
@@628DirtRooster OOPS!
Very decent swarm! Nice catch!
Thank you very much!
Huge swarm! Should count as 2 🤣
I agree. Have to run g that by Mr. Ed
Thanks
I totally thought when you were pulling that little piece of comb out you were going to get a face full of bees. 😳 The Dirt Rooster making it look to easy.
Bees dropped on my face would get more views though.
@@628DirtRooster 😆 oh you'll get more views all right. Walking around in public with your whole head swelled up 😂
Hey Rooster and Jennifer
Hey Randle
Hey R, it's Kat. Nice job with the Bee vac !!
Thanks Kat 😎
You find some of the largest swarms. How many bee yards you got?
Only three locations right now.
@@628DirtRooster keep catching swarms like that you’ll be needing more
Ever see the movie "the beekeeper"? Extremely violent, foul language but good story. The ending was great!
Nah, I looked up how loaded it was with profanity. Pass!
Hey Dirt, why don't you use a larger round vacuum to suck up the bees? Is that to not make them mad and clear off? Just curious ? Cheers. Huge swarm indeed! Dang!
You mean the vac or the hose?
@@628DirtRooster More the nozzle than a flat nozzle
Nice job 😊
Thanks 😁
Good to see one go easy on ya!
Always welcome those.
Great job boss
Thank ya bro!
Why do you use a thinner vacuum attachment instead of wide open?
He mentions why 3:19 to 4:00
What happens to bees left behind? Do they die or join other hives?
They’ll die unless there’s another colony very close by.
Wow
Dream Big brother 🙏
Sup Randy!
Yo! How y'all been?
Yaoooo 1st
Thanks for the views
Where's the everything bee vac?
I tore it up. I have to swap some parts.
10 times?? Maybe just keep a swarm trap there all the time (in the shade)
No doubt there’s opportunity there.
Typical Orange Cat behavior
I cannot find the name of the company you got the metal frames to spray paint your name on your hive boxes. Can you help me?
Scores and Bores
:)
Good evening Netherlands
Good evening Netherlands
Very Nice! Would you share a gofund for a gentleman that passed this April? Name of Jay Stamos. Love your content! Ten Swarms! Woowee, I hope they like the bees.
10 times. Wow!
None of your famous photography at the end. ☹☹
Short on time these days.
I got an off the wall question. Why is it up to a year ago I’d get stung and it would leave a small welp, and itch a bit next day. Now.. I get stung and swell’s up pretty good. Anyone?
Explain to me why the bees aren't attacking even when you stick your hand in the hive...?
Slow steady movements
@@628DirtRoosterand your bee magic 😂
@@newatthis50 That too
@@628DirtRooster I'm nervous just watching! Got stung on the tip of my finger, by a wasp, when I was a kid and have never forgotten that pain.
Just the BzzZzzZzz drives me up the wall with goosebumps of sheer horror… Can’t help it. It freaks me the F out. I totally admire guys like Dirtrooster who does this job, day, after day, after day. God bless you, man!
