Was a Chevy guy for years and went through a f150 phase. Went and test drove a RAM and never looked back lol... Accept for lookin at the bowties and F150s behind me .
I had an F250 forever and last year some jag bag sold me a lemon Raptor… So in disgust I went a bought a RAM Laramie 2weeks ago & omg the best decision ever ! I threw away all my FORD SHIGGITY because I’m a RAM baby!!!!! I should have done this 20 years ago.
Did a 3/5 IHC lowering kit on my 2020 4x4 quad cab, and the B2 Fabrication straight pipe like this kit. Tastefully lowered, tastefully un-muted. The perfect daily driver.
That kit was way better than the one I put on my 2016 Ram. Lisle has exhaust hanger pliers, I have never tried them but they look like they would work well. I like the way it sounds now, hopefully Mrs. Squarebody likes it, too.
People say these have bad drone cruising at 70-80mph, is that your experience? Then again, the 09-18 (and 19+ Classics) are the ones people talk about, maybe because they don't have as much sound insulation, and they only have the 2 rear tailpipe resonators and they look smaller than the ones on these newer trucks.
Mine came with a nice flow master with aftermarket resonators.I guess they are flow master . I never had performance truck, but I love the sound. It also has the cold air intake K&N. All that said, your exhaust is too loud for me, but each his own! I don't like lift kits either, but we are from different sides of the track, if you know what I mean. I like that flow master throaty sound, not the load exhaust!
like your muffler videos ! The old muffler is a monster, good to kick it out and the truck sounds as she should now. In my case, the wife unfortunately does not really appreciate the noticeably raw & raucous exhaust sound - however, sometimes you must stay strong and I kept my FlowMaster Super 44 😝 As an option for harmony I still have a quieter Magnaflow for long haul trips if needed.
You would have to have the part that was cut welded back together, but a good muffler shop should be able to do that. But you do this at your own risk. I take no responsibility for anyone else's actions.😅😅🤣🤣
@rent361 that's not really true. To be 5% legal on front windows in texas all you need is a doctors note saying I needed it to reduce skin damage on my arms. Easy for me to get- but i have 5% tint on 2 different vehicles never been stopped in 5 yrs though I do have DV plates also.

I'm die hard gm guy, but I do like the Mopars too.

Great video! I been debating on doing this on my truck I really don’t want that highway drone. I know it’s a video but yours just sounds right.
Thanks, it does have a nice rumble at hwy speed, but it doesn't drone in your head. My wife loves it if that helps any.

I want to lower mine the same way.
Using windex helps to slide those brackets into the rubber grommets. Once dry, doesn’t slide at all.

I figured there was a tool for the hangers. She loves the sound. Even after a 1400 mile round trip to Texas.
Dude….. this is an excellent video- I just got my Ram 2weeks ago and im ready to change the exhaust. Thank you so so much 🔥👍🏼
Thanks
I will be doing this to my 2015 big horn ram 1500
Truck sounds good. I did a flow master 40
On my 17 ram and now wishing I would have done this . 😂😂
It actually sounds like a real truck now. I really like the way it sounds even over the video
It sounds way better in person.
I bet it does
Especially when you give it all the beans.
You've got a friend in me! But also, great video... truck sounds awesome now. great work.

Ours isn't bad. We have no complaints after our trip to Texas.
Larry sounds much better with that Air Ballast out from under there. I need to do this to my truck. Great video Chad. Hope she likes it too.
Thanks, Mrs squarebody love it too.

I agree, everyone has different tastes. Mines not lifted, actually lowered a couple of inches in the rear

Thanks, my wife actually asked if I can make him louder. We're both pleased with how it turned out.
@@SquarebodyStuff congrats !
Larry sounds great! What did Mrs Square Body think?
She loves it. She has her own racetruck now
Sounds good. I like it.
Thanks, we're real happy with it too.
No one is ever satisfied
Is it hot in your shop? Looks like it might be but I wasn't sure. 🤔
Yes, it was a little warm.
squarebody
Rambody
Gotta have it
So what you're saying if you mess with the exhaust on a Dodge you'll get a big drone noise
Not really. It doesn't bother us. My wife and I love the way the truck sounds. The tone is noticeable on the hwy, but we have no complaints.
What did you do about the mds . Was it on after muffler delete.
Only thing I do with it is turn it off when I'm driving.
What was the name of the kit that you got
I can't remember now.
Okay I’m gonna have to cut mine off now 😂
Get the kit ordered, it should be there by the weekend and we can do it then.
Didn't see you put gasket on
Ok know now Thanks
hey chad i have a question can i do muffler delete on my leased ram and when i return it looks exactly like before?
You would have to have the part that was cut welded back together, but a good muffler shop should be able to do that. But you do this at your own risk. I take no responsibility for anyone else's actions.😅😅🤣🤣
Can you comment the link to this kit?

did your wife noticed it in the end or liked it? how much kg is the muffler actually?
She loves it. It was her idea to make it louder. I didn't weigh the muffler, but it was heavy.
@@SquarebodyStuff I also want to make it louder but only when it is idling actually. I do many highway and want no drone. This is a cheap mod
Nvm found it lol
We can’t have that type of tint you have in your windshield in Texas. They will give you a ticket
Dang, I thought in Texas you could paint the windows black and still be legal. Lol. This one is legal in Missouri.
@@SquarebodyStuff hell no! If you have 5% tint. They’ll cut that tint in-front of you
@rent361 that's not really true. To be 5% legal on front windows in texas all you need is a doctors note saying I needed it to reduce skin damage on my arms. Easy for me to get- but i have 5% tint on 2 different vehicles never been stopped in 5 yrs though I do have DV plates also.
@@j.d.mcginn6946 😂 you believe you own lies. Have you heard of the term don’t mess with Texas
@rent361 🤣🤣
Its not called a mid muffler…its just a muffler….
🤣🤣🤣🤣
What hood is in that Ram Laramie?
It's the stock sport hood.
Great video! You nailed that intro! 😁 And Larry sounds great!
Thanks, we're happy with how he sounds.
What engine do you have?
5.7 non etorque
still have my sqare. just got me a 2010 ram . larry sounds better than my dodge
I love the sound of it now. I'm sure they have a similar kit for your truck.
I like it
We still love it.
@@SquarebodyStuff does this throw codes?
Nope
