The tentacled figurine gives your starship a pretty good max speed increase and has adjacency bonuses with the trail colours and the Polo and Artemis figurines.
The storm fish also took me the longest. I used the Mag lures, and found a spot on a frozen world that had occasional blizzards, as well as deep water (deeper than 60u) -- and it worked. But I could only manage to get one "storm-only" fish per storm -- mostly because it was hard to see the fishing bobble and line during the blizzard whiteouts. I think I ended up reeling in too soon, or too late, and lost a bunch of opportunities. So it was the hardest milestone for me to get.
Can somebody please address the lack of space seatbelts in this game? I've been thrown off my Exo-Skiff multiple times now by rough seas, often with my bait in the water, right into the space water. Seriously, how hard would it have been for one Mr. Sean S Murry to put some space seatbelts on that blasted space boat?
I am pretty sure it is bugged. If the waves start rocking the skiff, exit out of fishing mode and jump up and down. That seems to restabilze it until you start fishing again. I think is supposed to float above the waves and also protect you from the weather. Hopefully will be a hotfix soon. Until then I recommend fishing from shore. I am on an extreme weather planet and I built a house with a door overlooking the ocean. I can fish through the door and not be affected by weather. I still catch storm fish during storms.
I really like the new armor. Have you checked if the old deep sea diving helmet looks good with the new armor? I'll probably do the fishing expedition this weekend.
I agree. I was planning on trying out the old deep sea helmet with this new armor as well. Overall some pretty cool rewards and a really chill expedition.
Same the expedition is broken and takes too long, some fish aren't registered (biome fish) so even if you catch a fish that meets the requirements it has to be registered. The expedition is mainly RNG based and half of it is warping. This expedition is the worst one I've played.
Hi Rod. Did not start the expedition and may not have to. The lure, the chum, the skip, and the fishing rod where all available for me from the vendor nearest the Nexus on the Anomaly. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.
I feel its going backwards, fishing is pretty lame in all games! I was hoping for more action or story development. I long for something that will get players interacting more.

If you refine star bulb to pilgrim berries they attracr storm fish. Its the rask ive had the most trouble with
