Here's Andy's guitar solo from "Master of the Dead" by Mors Principium Est! This is my favorite solo from their new record, Seven-not the flashiest or most technical, but a beautiful sense of melody. Andy really makes his guitar sing in this one, and I think that's something that we all as guitarists should aspire to do. If you've not yet checked out this album, please do so! Definitely one of my top five albums of 2020.

I like that kind of fingering, similar to dimebag's. I was comfortable to use my palm as a support that i can't place my fingers like that

With this I remember what the great Master Marty Friedman said once, if you have a chord progression and think on that when you write the solo you don't really need to hear the progression at all to feel the harmony in between.
