I mean yea, but at the end of the day, it's gonna end up in the DAW when he traks it out...Also, technically the mpc x is a pc with a DAW connected to a sampler. I wish he had 2 vintage mpc for drums
I appreciate dawless people. It takes a-lot of time and patience to make music when you're dawless, but it also makes you so much more aware of how things sound and are made. You can come up with some amazing sounding music when you're unplugged from the computer. I love Ableton and have made some amazing tracks with it, but I feel so much more creative when I can do things by hand with the force, sure it's not an MPC it's more like the MPC's little baby brother. Like what your doing with your channel!! Keep banging out those beats.!!
Your studio looks amazing. I want to ask you a question I have an MPC XSE but I’ve got a chance to buy a new MPC X which is now deleted. I was wondering whether as your video shows you’ve got two MPC is it a good idea to have two and use them together or separate thank you kindly
Nice setup. That's the first time I've seen anyone have two MPC X s set up side by side in their studio. I agree with him about the computer. I also have an all-hardware setup and use the computer only for recording and mixing into Protools.
I hook different ones through midi in different configurations. Working on hooking up 5 of them. He’s got what I really wanted which is 2 Xs. Now I gotta get another one.
@@MPCandGuitar Hahaha. Cool. I just want to get my one X working properly. It's a really nice machine, but it randomly momentarily freezes. It's been doing that ever since I've had it. My MPC One doesn't do that.
@@MPCandGuitar Yeah. I agree. I plan to call Akai as soon as I get a hold of some money because I'm pretty sure they're gonna charge me for the repair after having it for two years. I highly suspect the warranty has probably expired by now.
The MPC is a computer and the software is a DAW, young click in notes same as I did however as I got older I switched to playing stuff in. My laptop is only for music, I dont have games or social media on it, I agree with the sound, thats why Im incorporating hardware, working towards a hybrid set up.
I really enjoy working with MPC since back in the day. Adding the touch screen definitely made it more like a computer. Which is great i think. it made the sample functions way faster for trimming that’s the reason I got the X. I’ve been meaning to figure out the midi stuff for the daw it’s uncharted territory for me. I just use logic for recording the songs and live bands.
I’ve heard some insane stuff done with computers. I use computers for recording into as a track recorder and for mastering. Nothings going to replace the computer for tracking that’s for sure
@ remember when the Triton came out very few could afford it. Korg is the same way who has Kronos money and that is why DAW’s with VST became popular because people could afford VST’s.
This studio is so nice and that beat at the start of the video is fire.
Oh ya! Qtastic is the man and I believe the studio didn’t burn down
Cold set up!
Pretty sick man I agree
Awesome studio ♥☺
He’s got a great set up going on there for sure!
Great analog talk .. luv dat west coast sound
For sure! He’s got some serious gems. I dig his outlook and approach to music.

Thanks for being a part of it! I’m glad you dig it.
It's exactly the same in principle. It's a computer. It's also plug-in. The way it works is different than a DAW.
Nice track
Does anyone know about that Akai keyboard above his head to the left ?
Akai Miniak
@MPCandGuitar Great thank you so much...
Did I see the M-Audio Venom in the cut? 💪🏾👍🏾

Hell ya do it! Seriously do it. If I could I’d run 2 X’s. I’m not there yet but I’m gonna be.
It allows you to have more screens open so you don’t have to navigate as much to manipulate frequencies and volumes

I would call akai about that. That’s not cool

How do you like the ion? Always wanted one.

I HAD AN MPC 2000 XL SPEC EDITION and I TRADED FOR A mv8000
What was you smoking..🤦🏾♂️
Oooofff!
@@detailmafia5626the MV 8000 is way better than any MPC ever made before 3.0 for the new ones wait my MV already does that too
Subbed❤❤❤❤❤. You're a gearlut like me. One MPCX only though lol.
Hey that’s a great Mpc to have! Thanks for checkin me out💥
Nice Computer-less set-up!
Ya, it’s pretty impressive. I agree
The problem with Daw less is Simple most real like keyboards cost over 2 grand to buy and that is why computers ain’t going nowhere
