they played this song at a friends funeral....sme said it was too sad... then there was us who though this song mean something more... it felt like, not a passing, but the begining of something new, new life, it awoke us what ever the feeling was it was truly remarkable. esta cancion esta muy bonita le agradesco por haber puesto este video sobre el internet . thank you God Bless.
The old man watched his wife as she lay, gently caressing her hand in his, reminiscing about the times he spent with her. All the memories, the milestones, the struggles, the pain, all with her. As he sat and watched her, he smiled and was grateful of what they accomplished together and was thankful she never left his side. Her time has come to be taken away to the heavens to be reunited with those of the past, that place where souls go to be free. The old man was content with this. She can finally rest and let go of the pain and tiredness. He watched her slowly take her last breath as she passed on to the next world. He gently kissed her forehead and whispered goodbye.

Explosions in the sky has changed my life. It has changed my perspective on life. God has created such a beautiful place for us to live and i've learned to charish that. This song gives me the chills. I'm a different person because of this band and god bless them for what they have done.

Such a beautiful video filled with images... hard to believe this song came from the sountrack to "Friday Night Lights" - a film about highschool football, I think! Just wonderful, as is just about everything done by the wonderful group of musicians called "Explosions In The Sky."

EITS is is the best. Their music is the soundtrack to my life (with Brand New's stuff occassionally thrown in there. :P ) But yeah, they're just so awesome, It's hard to describe music that makes you feel as good as theirs does.
The pictures of this video are really well chosen and the song is more powerful in this way.
