He asked him "how does he retain so much information?". I'd say one of the reasons is because his mind is not cluttered with things from TV or knowing who Dame or Ross is (I love Ross by the way). But maybe not knowing allows him to use that mental space for something else that may be more beneficial to him and his life. Because really how does knowing who those people are benefit us outside of maybe a little motivation?
Some of us just have the ability to retain everything we consume. It's a gift and a curse for me tho. Keeps me from taking action because I'm constantly absorbing new information.

Losing a business deal due to a misunderstanding is very different than losing your life behind one. It made me a more effective communicator . And made bridging the gap that much easier. You have to meet people at their level and speak a language that speaks to them without being condescending. I’ve just never been able to make the connection between sales and conversation. That slimey feeling always crept in. Then I realized the difference between persuasion and convincing. Still learning though. Salute to your work
