Tbh Until they add proper AA methods or nerf the little bird in particular Lis is about the only reliable way to deal with air vehicles.

not even slightly true. 30mil wildcat literally shreds air vehicles to pieces with ease. and the only counter measure to that is to have someone run up and throw c5 on it.
@Silk they should just make Rao (the hacker guy) better tbh so that he gets used more because all it does is disable the vehicles weapons. It disabling countermeasures would make him much better and push for teamwork

I once had a DICE Dev in my lobby a few months ago, and all he did -the entire round - was pulling out his stinger in the most open spot on the map and shooting at my heli. He died like 6-7 times against me that round back to back before calling it a day and quitting.
Just saying that you expect those people to nerf Lis TV missiles...

Silk makes it look so easy! It does take a lot of practice to get to this point. I think also maybe the fact that silk is also a pilot helps him with liz as he can likely anticipate movement patterns better.

yes it takes some degree of skill, but still liz is stupid strong i mean you see it in the video. if just one player that knows how to use them is in a match his whole enemy team gets flight allowance rejected, and with 128 players on a server the chance of one knowing how to use it is fairly high. it 100% needs a nerf and imo even the state of it before the buff was too strong

It does take time to get good with them, but Lissiles are a little too strong right now. I don't think they should be able to catch up to a jet using it's afterburners and they shouldn't be able to loop around a target for as long as they currently can. If you miss the shot, that should be it, you should need to leave that missile and use another one. I wouldn't be surprised if Dice reduced the buff she got to somewhere between where she was pre-3.2 and now.

I'd rather 1 shot a jet or heli. Not worth wasting my 2 easy one shot missiles on anything else.
Is this on a hardcore server? Usually takes 3 rockets to destroy a chopper on normal servers.
If it was this easy to kill aircrafts we would see people having 10-15 vehicle destroyed in the players of the game screen. Most iv seen is 6-7 and that was an pilot one trick.

Can't believe they buffed this thing. It was already op enough. Damage buff, range buff, speed buff and hit box buff.
I went skiing this winter as well and i worked out leading up to it so i could go crazy. Knees def were getting sore too, but not as bad as if i went in without exercise. Joints take longer to get in shape than muscle.

Yeah I worked out 5-6 days a week, got my deadlift up to 200kg, squat at 130kg and improved my cardio fitness a tonne. My physio said it was a freak accident and a result of having a dislocation 3 years ago. This time I've got a knee brace and will take a slightly more mobility focused angle to my prep.
This was fun to watch, but I am absolutely trash with the lis rocket. It's so hard to aim for me, even on PC. I've tried tweaking the settings, but I just can't wrap my head around how to accurately control that thing.
Interacting in and around the BF community is like a schizophrenia simulator; you see all this terribly broken bullshit everywhere and actively warn against it, only for a 0.69 KD 0.1 KPM 1942 vet or some couch gaming console warlord to tell you its all in your head

In my "nerf Lis" post some guy insinuated it was a "lucky shot" hitting the jet. Man, the only luck you need is for the jet to enter your quarter of the map.

It's odd how every one of your Lis shots were instakills. In my experience it takes at least 2-3 direct hits to take out a Hind, 2 for a bird, and at least 2 for any jet. And about 5000 for a Condor.
Yeah I land most of my shots and almost never get a kill with her missile.
Scout and stealth heli go down 1 same for Jets. AH goes down with 2 but its often one cuz they are never 100% hp. Ofc Hind and Condor dont die in 1 shot cuz they are "balanced team work vehicle that shouldnt be nerfed" according to 0kd reddit players. They go down with 3, but often they have double reps so they straight up dont die.

@@HonorBRJonasFCB just came out of a game where literally shot 2 rockets at the AH and it did not get destroyed. If anything they should nerf the spawn rate of all vehicles or gives us an infantery only alternative.
All it takes is one good pilot to force half of the opposite team to switch to engineer.
These games can't be Balanced around the top 0,5% of players.

this is 10 times stronger than TV missiles in BF4, hitting a jet with a TV missile can be hard as they're much slower than the jet and have not that much range. This missile is much FASTER than the jet. wtf.

Example: I'm ranking 159, but on Ranking stats is 120, mostly of my weapons are already in T1 who needs 1200 kills and on rank status they only shows 900 kills 🙈, the same with vehicles and other stuff.. Can someone tell me what is Rong with it ? Or it's just me 🤔?!
All they had to do was add the sraw from bf4 into the game and make it exactly how it was before it got nerfed

i too am a decent pilot but not at your level...just tryin to finish off my tier 1 skins in helis....only had the apache and little bird left....apache was just gruesome with how slow it is. 5 mins would be an epic run after the buff. The only way was to sky box it and rain 30 mil cannons with seat switching-boring and kinda like camping. Little bird is a little more maneuverable to avoid most Liz players but still tough to stay alive. Thanks battlefield for taking the fun out of flying....between liz and just landing without it flipping over to repair...game is just frustrating....
I wish Liz's TV missile was a TOW instead, would've required a lot more skill, and would've been as deadly as it should've been.
And I know what I'm talking about, since i'm an actual bf1942 vet.

Well dice just released the patch notes for season 4 an lis got totally destroyed. Now no one except really good players will be able to use here and pilots will be able to dominate in most games. The biggest winning factor will probably be what team has the best pilot.
Just give us infantry only mode dice!

You spend hours learning how to fly vehicles in previous games at the franchise,you spend other hours learning how to aim and survive better just to come to this game and get fucked by a single soldier between other 31/63 and go sent at spawn and wait other 1 min and half to get your favorite air vehice again.
I have tried to do a chanllenge that required to detroy two aircrafts with liz in the same game, I just gave up. I dont know what im doing wrong. 😔😔😔

I haven't been able to bring myself to play the past two weeks out of boredom.
There's just not enough of a learning curve to keep me fully invested and still the lack of weapons is painful especially when they're so simple to use.
I was really looking forward to the new SMG coming thinking it would act like an UMP 45 but it sounds like it's just going to be another high rof pea shooter which has killed any excitement off
Same man…. Im a heli/sniper/beacon/capper and i get first on 128 games most of the time. And i love helis and it is super frustrating with liz. Some games ill get spawn killed in heli with liz like 3 or 4 times in a row. I understand that helis were overpowered… but insanely buffing an already overpowered projectile that can maneuver around cover is just out of line. Not worth playing for me. I refuse to wait for a heli and then it b spawn killed by a tgm from 600m away
Feel like they should reduce its dmg on ground vehicles. Liz should be more of the AA taker-downer, not an all rounder
i agree that liz is op and definitely could use a range nerf on the rocket but man it feels nice being able to harass pilots after being harassed by pilots for the past 7 years of playing this franchise
I mean BF1 pretty much had no counters to planes as an infantry and BFV had the fliegerfaust but you needed to be really salty to even equip that shit. AA guns, AA tanks often didnt cut it in those 2 games. BF4 had an unfunny ammount of good counters to helis/jets from vehicles to inf so if you cried in BF4 imo it was skill issue 😂

@@IlNamelessKinglI I used to just snipe the planes in bf1, they flew pretty slow so it wasn't too hard. The fliegerfaust was annoyingly easy to use tho, when I'd get in my plane I'd do great for about half the match until the enemy team got really annoyed and there would be about 10 players with them and at least one would hit me before long. Also the aa tanks were pretty good in that game imo especially the flakpanzer but the valentine aa was pretty good too plus they clapped against infantry
@@damienmcdonald7610 Yeah the AA tank wasnt too bad in V but in 1 no one used the AA truck. Also in 1 people mostly flew the heavy bomber in the stratosphere and you cant hide from spotting flares so good luck surviving the bombs in Operations. Still none of the counters in 1 or V compare to a Stealth Jet harrassing you top down or spawnkilling you with Passives or a relentless MAA with zoom and actives literally spamming at you across the maps, often using Cover that you cant shoot through easily. On top of that Iglas, Sraws, AA mines, Smaws, Jav + Soflam, Tows from stations/Lavs...The helis/Jets also took more skill to master in BF4 so on top of the high Skill ceiling that you need to reach, you gotta deal with more and stronger counters that take usually 0 skill to use apart from the Sraw. Thing was, atleast they didnt 1 shot kill you. Lis one shots you on 3 out of 5 air type vehicles in BF2042 😂
Seems like Dice rehired their Rejects they sent to CCP to make their FPS called Dust 514 on the Ps3 where the air vehicles didn't get countermeasures, lock on warnings and when the devs figured out that like 3 pilots in the whole game figured out how to dodge lock ons they buffed the tracking, speed and Damage.
at 10% speed it was on for 12 frames
the fact its instakilling any air vehicle is a bit much, it should really just mobility kill them in most cases
You must live a charmed life. I've never had a little bird or jets be that still enough to kill them with Lis's missle. Now the larger helli's are real easy to hit but i very rarely take one down because they aren't damaged enough to kill them with my shot. So yea I don't think for a second that Lis is overpowered.

Just referring to the text at 4:02. From bf bc2 to bf4, launchers had incredible speed. Just look at the sraw. The M5 is nowhere near as fast as that

Dev patch notes has nerfs coming to Liz's TV missile.
I think Liz missiles need to lock on automatically when they get close to a target and even detonate on a near miss for full damage. Just to make sure they can't miss. Any infantry player should be able to one shot any air vehicle, they shouldn't restrict the kills to skill. Just let it auto lock and one shot. If it requires skill, it isn't good enough. DICE, please buff it. Ah, and also let them one shot tanks. Thank you.
Liz needs one more rocket or increased damage for rocket hits. I usually use a NTW-50 with Liz or Rao when vehicle killing. You can't use air missles with Rao anymore which sux and people really don't play team even with new class reworks. Most of time people just ignore helo"s and get farmed. You can however kill wounded running ground vehicles hiding behind hills or buildings and can go back n top of some buildings when helo's hide and recover.

This is not my experience at all. Plus, we all need to take into account that these clips can be curated to only include successful rocket launches, etc. Most of the pilots in my game are not this mindless, just flying in one direction, not responding to the clear warning sounds as Lis's rocket approaches their vehicle. I have no problem hitting flying targets with her rockets, but the players we're seeing here are clearly mindless. Personally, I don't feel like this game has enough effective anti-air, and this is coming from someone that HATED how many AA devices BF4 had. It's hard to down a Hind in this game even with multiple people playing AA. The jet pilots in your video are clearly of entry-level skill.

If you're struggling to hit with Lis; you're just bad and should probably uninstall.
All the anti-air in BF4 (with the exception of missiles that just go through ECM) had a reasonable counter strategy, whether that be passives, actives, AA mines, javelins, MAA etc

AA Mine Counters: Pre-emptive ecm , shooting or telling your gunner to shoot the aa-mine, reflexively ecming upon AA Mine activation, avoiding common AA Mine locations. UCAV counters: Fly backwards until ucav runs out of range. Fly high altitude out of ucav range and have your gunner target the person firing the ucav. Remain at a distance until threat is killed. Enemy stealth jet counter(difficult against pro player): Take cover by base AA or your team's MAA, fly underneath cover if available, pitch up to fire tow/TV when at safe altitude, land and repair while jet is circling around. Javelin counter: Recognize soflam continuous lockon, fly low and break line sight, pre-emptive ecm, anticipate the potential for javelin to hit through ecm and have gunner be ready with fire extinguisher... Sraw/tow/TV missile counter: Visually identify and dodge, remain unpredictable. Note that these are way harder to aim than LIS missiles, and only tows 1-hit. Not even SRAWs 1 hit a little bird.
